Very tasteful martinis and excellent service. Hilario is one of the best bar tenders in occipital at Xcaret hands down. Please keep these thematic drinks. They are amazing and they are really fun with non stop dancing.

Great food, exelent service provided by Rigoberto, he was very attentive to all of our requests, and his suggestions where on point. If you are lookong for a great dinner and a great experience go to "el pescador" and ask for Rigoberto.

Rigoberto provided the BEST service at the pescador restaurant. Very attentive and friendly. His service exceeded our expectations. We visit this resort every year and he remembers us and is always excited to see us. All the first club staff is also great, Mary carmen’s team especially Jose and Cesar treat us like family. We can’t wait to visit again next year.

Visited Nov 8-11, 2020. Overall, I really enjoyed my short stay at this resort and will likely return. Traveling during a pandemic is always risky and you never know how your experience will be affected but I was pleasantly surprised with everything. I was apprehensive after having a poor experience at an all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta in July 2020. This was quite a redemption trip! Would recommend to anyone looking for a low key, relaxing visit to the Riviera Maya. PROS - Beautiful resort - Excellent service from staff, very friendly and comfortable - golf cart Shuttle service throughout resort -Pleasantly surprised with food and beverage service due to Covid. There were plenty of options available. The main buffet had a large variety of dishes. Only visited for breakfast but the omelettes were delicious, the coffee was tasty and the mimosas were flowing! Dined at the pizzeria the first night, the Sonora grill the second and Olivia on the third night. The menues and food did not disappoint. Enjoyed a couple of lunches at the Lagos snack bar and the buffet options there were great. Bar service and drinks throughout the resort were consistently excellent. Definitely recommend the Riviera Maya cocktail and the mojitos! - The server, Leyde, at the snack bar/waterfall bar and pool was amazing. Even drink service at the beach was perfect. - Again, the staff really go above and beyond. Remember, tips are appreciated and go a long way towards top notch service! - Valentina, the concierge in our building (#21) was always friendly and available for anything you needed. We didn't require any service but she was always pleasant to chat with on our way in and out. - Our room was very well located across from one of the pools. It was easy to get around on foot or by the shuttle that runs every 5-10 mins, which was especially convenient to get to and from the main lobby. - Wildlife! So many sightings in our short stay - monkeys, coatis, iguanas, agoutis and birds like the macaws in the lobby. I really enjoyed the "jungle" experience. - Resort grounds were very well maintained and beautiful. The Mayan lighthouse and ruins were really interesting to see. - Proximity to Xcaret Park was perfect, easily walkable from main lobby area. Don't waste your time with the small gondola boat from the resort, people were walking faster than it! - QR codes for resort and restaurant information were very easy to access and understand. - We had a late flight and didn't want to check out until 3pm. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that we could pay for a guaranteed late check out for a low fee of $55. This was perfect, allowing us to spend some time at the pool and enjoy lunch before we departed. CONS Bathroom in our room, #21127, flooded on our second day with water coming in from the ceiling above. Bathroom and main entry floor was covered with water. We notified our building concierge that morning and then left for a day at Xcaret Park. When we returned around 6pm, the issue was fixed and the floors and walls were dry. - Another guest told us about seeing large cat prints on the beach on morning, possibly from a cougar or jaguar (!?!) and it made us wonder why resort staff didn't encourage us to use the resort shuttles more, especially at night. Small safety concern but not unexpected due to location and geography. - Mosquitoes! I know this is in no way the resort's fault and is due to the fact that it is in a jungle but I wish we had been better prepared for the mosquitoes. We did bring Repel/Feet wipes which saved our ankles and feet but if you forgot to apply, you're going to be attacked ruthlessly...no matter where you are at the resort. Pro tip: bring plenty of bug spray!

David Arcos waited on us at Pacos Tacos. The food was amazing and the service was too! We will continue to come. I highly recommend this place and staff to anyone looking for a pleasant atmosphere and great food.
