Great resort, beautiful beach but terrible dining at dinner only restaurants (Piaf and Sen Lin were the worst, followed by Frida; Lucca was fine). Azul was great for both breakfast and lunch. The worst part was our concierge entered our room twice without our permission!

I can't say enough nice things about gran velas. The property is beautiful and impeccably manicured, the food is fantastic, the service is beyond and better than I have experienced at many fine dining restaurants in nyc. The staff couldn't be nicer. Gabriel our concierge was lovely and so responsive. Our babysitters Lola and karina were so sweet with our girls. The servers at azul (alonzo, Omar, nancy everyone), Piaf (Alejandro and team) cocina di autor (Pablo and Antonio). My kids were very sick for our whole vacation so it was very unfortunate circumstances so we had to see doctors three times so sadly we didn't get a true vacation or spring break to really enjoy it but everyone was so lovely and tried to make us happy. We would def come back!

Stunning Resort with impeccable service . Every aspect of this resort exceeded our expectations. The food, service, and beautiful location are unmatched in the Riviera Maya region. The service is OUTSTANDING the food is OUTSTANDING. Alexa our personal concierge was OUTSTANDING. I can't imagine going anywhere else in Mexico... honestly. Our favorite place. Especially for families, highly recommend this palace!!

Wow! We just returned from 4 nights at Grand Velas, and it was amazing. The property is stunning, and everything is high end. Staff was incredibly helpful - special thanks to Yuli - our concierge, pool waiters Jesus Perez, Humberto and Jose. We enjoyed a Jewish seder on site at a property that really made us feel welcome. Special thanks to Amy Negrete for making sure every aspect of the seder was perfect. Victor at the concierge desk arranged all of our dinner reservations. We stayed in the Ambassador building, which overlooks the pool and beach - it's perfect for families.
