Captures the essence of Canada

Jonathan F on Apr 24, 2024

I have lived in Canada for 25 years and have travelled worldwide for both business and pleasure. I have a lifetime SPG platinum membership. I've frequented hotel lounges from London to Paris, Shanghai to Singapore, and beyond. The staff at this hotel exemplify excellence, from the valets at the front to the room service staff, the front desk, the pool area, and the Gold Lounge staff on the 8th floor. The service here captures the essence of the Canadian people: genuine, friendly, welcoming, and warm

Gold level is worth it!

Shelly S on Apr 23, 2024

Booking a Gold Room is well worth the premium, it was a busy working weekend for me, so having breakfast, coffee, snack etc handy while I was doing a lot of writing and attending an event at the hotel over the weekend made it feel like a break and not a working weekend. From getting last minute nail appointment to a being able to swim and get some sun in Mid-April was a blessing. Taking time for morning walks in the forest was very good for the soul. Whistler is a truly magical place and being at the Fairmont makes it a luxurious gift to yourself.

Ultimate service

Destination635011 on Apr 21, 2024

I felt truly well taken care of during my stay at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Although I was there primarily for a business conference, I was able to take advantage of the hotel's amenities and found the service exemplary. I had forgotten to pack my sneakers and stopped by the concierge desk to ask where in town I could go to buy a pair so that I could exercise in the gym - instead, they sent a pair up to my room in my size that I was able to use for my entire stay. And when I wanted to go skiing, the on-site rental shop, ticket desk (which sold me a half-day ticket at 12:30 pm), and the ski valet made the entire process a breeze. The front desk was also incredibly accommodating with a late check-out time. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to ski at Whistler/Blackcomb and to anyone looking to feel welcome in Whistler.

Absolutely incredible!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at while traveling! Upgraded to The Jasper Suite with amazing views and luxurious room. Amazing support with travel around Whistler and bags that no other hotels offered. Friendly staff and delicious food at the restaurants.

Top Notch service

Curious579632 on Apr 16, 2024

This review is much deserved. I go to this Hotel a couple times a year. I have never had a bad experience. The colleagues are exceptional! I love how pet friendly the hotel is. The dog is treated like one of the family. The great amenities, dog bed, bowls, treats, and poop bags. So thoughtful! Lia at Front desk for remembering me from previous stays, for being so in tune with her guests. She went above and beyond her roles and sent a little gift not knowing I was going through a difficult time. Very thoughtful and caring! The service in Wildflower with Mark who has served us previously and is very good at interacting with his guests. Melodie B (I really hope I got her name right!) In the Grill who is such a delight to have as our server! Very professional and knowledgeable! I am never disappointed when I stay here. I need to let the secret out! I hope the staff read the reviews because they deserve to know they are in the right profession, and it shows! Thank you everyone for always making our stays amazing! Especially Oakley!
