Classy rooms, guest “services” inflexible.

ghalsing (Santa Clarita, California) on May 01, 2024

The room was very classy, and furniture only slightly worn. Beds comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. Only four out of five ranking because they refused to extend my check out to noon, insisting they would have to charge me. It’s not like I asked for a 2 PM or 4 PM late check out, and in all of my experiences, I have never had a hotel refuse a 12PM, except on an exceptionally busy weekend. This was on a Wednesday morning. As is typical, the in room coffee and mini bar prices were astronomical. Why even bother having them? But this is a problem across Vegas so… at least there was free coffee on the fitness center floor, which was welcome.

It was Fine

nancyah1 (Emigrant, Montana) on Apr 30, 2024

Hello, I've just returned home from two nights at your hotel. I brought my daughter and friend for their first time to Vegas. And like my title, it was fine. The hotel part was fine, which really kind of irritated me. I ordered a limo through Cesear's, and it was actually an SUV that picked us up. I could have gotten an SUV through Uber, and it would have been cheaper. The limo was supposed to be the kickoff. I'm a Diamond Elite and I didn't get my 2nd room until 5pm. AND it wasn't connected, like I asked. Big bummers!!! Last, I had emailed my host at least twice before arriving to discuss the limo, rooms, and different reservations, and got nothing - EVER. No communication. If you look me up, you can see that I normally come to Vegas 3-4 times a year. I spend a ton in the casino. I was disappointed - like, a lot.

Ripped off

I was charged twice for resort fees and was told nothing could be done to correct it. I will never stay at the resort again and will tell all friends and family to stay away.

Beautiful, comfortable, humid

EmiJacks25 (Knoxville, Tennessee) on Apr 26, 2024

This hotel is beautiful! It is a calming respite from the noise and casinos. In fact, even at the check-in desk we already felt more calm. The room itself was gorgeous! And, most importantly, it was comfortable! This was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in, the couch was a great place to sit and read in the early morning sunshine before really starting our day. The room service from Nobu restaurant was delicious. The staff were all very courteous. I did feel that there wasn't enough signage in the casino to easily find our way, but there was always someone willing to help if asked. I loved the close proximity to gambling and food that still allowed us to take a bit of a sensory break when needed. We did have a few issues, though. First, it took over 10 minutes for us to get any hot water to the sink or shower in the bathroom. Second, if we did not keep the A/C running and set to 65° the room was so humid that my clean clothes were actually damp when I put them on. We thought it was very strange considering it was not particularly hot or humid outside during our visit. Last, and I may just be naive since this is the most swanky hotel I've ever stayed at in the U.S., but I was shocked and frustrated that "Personal use of the fridge" would cost us $75! I did not want anything from the mini bar, I just wanted a place to store my bottled water and pastries from the fabulous bakery downstairs. Instead, I was stuck with room temp water and partially stale pastries. It was a small disappointment overall, but worth mentioning for others who may not be aware.

Meh. Not a place to take someone special. No wow factor.

fdipace (Winter Park) on Apr 26, 2024

My partner and I have wanted to stay at the Nobu for awhile. We liked the decor and ambiance of the intimate check in area. The "specialness" of the lobby stops after you get off the elevator. The rooms have zero wow factor and are only average size. (Do not expect rooms like the Wynn, Encore or the Venetian resorts). The view was downright depressing. Our view was into the rooms across an alley. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and the AC worked well. However, we had a connecting room with very noisy neighbors. It annoys me that people write that the bathroom is Japanese inspired. This is not exactly correct. If it was it would definitely have a Japanese bidet toilet with better quality paper products. The shower head is lethal. It is way too strong and unenjoyable. We both felt very let down. There isn't a separate pool for Nobu guests. I'm not exactly sure what you are paying extra for. Our upgraded room came with a Keurig machine but no pods, you must go out and buy for yourself. Only after going out to buy coffee pods did we find out the machine didn't work. It took 5 phone calls and 2 front desk visits and 8 hours to get it replaced. No one really seemed to care. The operator kept telling me in a stern voice she would let the minibar staff know and they will check on their rounds and I would have to wait. The young bellman who delivered our luggage tried to push the bags in the room so he could leave. I asked him to put the luggage on a luggage rack which he did. I then asked about ice and he said "You can get it on the 72 or 82 floor" and then he left! So much for customer service. Even more irritating was that the ice machine was broken! We were glad to leave. We left and went to the Nomad at Park MGM what a difference! The staff were amazing and it has its own dedicated pool. They made us feel special unlike Nobu.
