I would highly recommend staying at the Westin Concho hotel resort. It’s an amazing place with amazing restaurants. Also on the beach, you can book an incredible Scrooge and with Eric G who will set you up for an awesome fun, safe, and exciting day. He is in the blue shirt out in front of the Westin and he is a must find on your trip. We will be returning back to the Westin because if it’s quality hotel, beach and restaurants. Five at a five stars.

My family stayed at the Westin for a week and found the people friendly and rooms were clean. The wildlife on the resort is amazing and makes the stay totally worth it. We saw monkeys everyday in the trees and the iguanas are everywhere! We ate at most of the restaurants. Our favorite was Bamboo. At times we did wish there were more food options and more service around the pool to bring drinks but overall our family enjoyed ourselves. Housekeeping was great! The beach is beautiful! There are free activities like kayaks, bicycles, and snorkel gear. Outside the resort there are locals who offer massages and tours and they are very friendly. My daughter and I had Nina and her mother to do massages on the beach for us and they were amazing. We used Erik G (he has google blue shirt ) feel free to google him. We used him to go to the 2 waterfalls, a sloth/coffee tour, and a fishing trip for my husband and my boys. He was so helpful and easy to work with. My family had a great time! The resort has plenty of fun during the day and the pool is huge! Catherine B.

My friend and I stayed 7 days at the Westin Resort and Spa Playa Conchal. We were incredibly impressed with the level of service the hotel provided for us. Anything we asked for we got and promptly. Our room was peaceful and clean. Room service was quick and mini bar was stocked every day with whatever we specified. We never felt crowded and the balconies were very private. The staff were very friendly and helpful, all you have to do is ask and you shall receive. There wasn’t a meal that we didn’t like. The grounds were beautiful and lush even for being in the dry season. Wildlife everywhere! Monkeys, birds, reptiles.. always something to see. It was like a dream. I loved that we could see a wide variety of vegetation even just being on the resort. The beach was beautiful, the sunsets were breathtaking! We took a ride on a catamaran with “Lazy Lizard Sailing” in the afternoon and it was totally worth it. Go in the afternoon so you can see the sunset on the way back to shore. They offer a taco lunch, all you can drink and various snorkelling, paddle boarding, and other activities. You can book them through the guys that rent the jet skis on the beach. Our rainforest day was everything we asked for and more. We decided to book with Erik Garcia (blue google shirt on the beach) after asking around and checking out availability and pricing. Erik was able to provide us with a private tour with whatever we felt like doing for an excellent price. Our driver was right on time, very professional, and it was really nice having a private tour with just us in the vehicle. We got the experience we were hoping for and highly recommend Erik for any off resort tours. I can honestly say that we had the best experience in Costa Rica thanks to the wonderful service from this hotel and the unforgettable experiences the local professionals provided for us at the beach. We felt safe wherever we went and truly felt the essence of the “pura vida” lifestyle. Will definitely return as we feel one week wasn’t enough.

My husband and I just returned from our trip to Guanacastle- we stayed at the adults only club at the Westin. We found the property to be we well maintained and our room with a garden view was updated where the bedding was comfortable. The air conditioning worked without issue during our stay. We did notice a few cockroaches in our room, I guess that is to be expected. The club adult pool was quiet and relaxing during the day. We had breakfast at the club restaurant which was convenient and delicious. Overall, the food at the resort was not that good! And the bar service started at 11 at the club pool which seemed a little late. Our concierge was to stock our room with a bottle of rum but it never happened. The club served evening happy hour with appetizers. I think previous reviews would suggest that one not do an all inclusive in Costa Rica but we wanted to for this trip - we ate a mitre market, Italian and the steakhouse. Nothing was exceptional and sometimes not edible. We did find a tour guide through Erik on the beach (blue shirt). We booked a waterfall tour and hike and it turned out to be a private tour which was fabulous. Our driver was knowledgeable and even stopped for souvenirs on the way back. The hike to the waterfall was also great-again it was private tour so we went at our pace and really enjoyed the trail. It was a warm day and the river was refreshing. Our guide took several photos that he later shared. Our driver stopped for lunch at a traditional soda and it was the best meal we had all trip. It was a great day and we are glad to have connected with Erik for this tour! It was easy to sign up and it was fantastic. Thank you for reading

Had a great experience at the Westin, the service was friendly , attentive and excellent. Highly recommend the fish tacos at Caracoal for lunch. For dinner my kids loved Bamboo and Spirula and Faisenella the most. The beach is incredible, I’d suggest gettin up early to get a spot in the shade under the trees. Karaoke night was a huge hit. We did the mega combo tour and the catamaran tour though the hotel, both were great. For transportation to and from the hotel the Westin had no availability for our arrival time so we used Erik G (he has google blue shirt ) google him to get his contact info. He does excursions and transportation. He had a private van pick is up and it was perfect and a great deal. I’m fact we decided to use him again for our trip back to the airport. I would highly recommend the Westin Reserva Conchal for a family of 4.
