We stayed here for just over 10 days in October and the hotel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were cleaned daily and always left spotless, from the minute you check in the reception staff/bellboys strive to ensure you enjoy your stay. Restaurants were fantastic and contrary to some reviews we didn’t have a problem getting a reservation any day. Toro steakhouse and Ipanema were the highlights in terms of where to eat, and the reception sun bar was perfect for a night cap before/after the evening shows in the theatre. All in all our holiday was perfect and the highlight of the hotel has to be the staff, they work tirelessly to make sure your stay is perfect and always great you with a smile!! This was our first experience of Mexico and will definitely be back to this hotel!!!

    Can't get better than this!

My apologies to the amazing people at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya for being tardy with this review. I had an outstanding time with a wonderful colleague of mine. My Complements to the staff that helped to make this trip phenomenal! Beatriz Rivera helped us with so much of our planning before we arrived. Our spa treatments were scheduled as well as other excursions before we got there. Beatrix often thought of things that we would want or need before we did. When we arrived Ilse and Magda were a wonderful help. Our personal assistant, Ivonne Guadarrama, was so delightful. She took care of all our dinner reservations and checked up on us daily. Our reservations were perfect! We look forward to having her as our butler again. Ezequiel at the Bali Beds made our days by the water were perfect. The surprise drinks he created were great! He always topped off our day with champagne and pickings each day. Sophia and Pananna also took good care of us at the beach as well. My spa treatments were wonderful. Luis took very good care of us at Caio. At Los Gallos, Lupita, Pedro, and Manuel were outstanding. At the French restaurant, the manager Maria and our waiter Ricardo were wonderful. Oscar at Toro made sure we were enjoying ourselves. For breakfast at Caio, Luis could not do enough for us. Leo from Vacation Planners and our bell boy, Carlos, were so helpful. Checking out was a pleasure. Thank you for the smooth departure Daniel. I am so excited to plan our trip for next June!

This was absolutely magical. The food, rooms, service, cleanliness and attention to detail was to the letter. Our Bulter Vinz, was indispensable. Vinz helped us with everything and more and was always patient with our many reservation and special requirements. Kudos to the Hard Rock for having such a professional on hand!

We visited 10/13/19 - 10//18/19 and absolutely loved our time there! It was myself, my husband and our 13 year old son. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff was mostly very helpful. Pros and Cons: PROs: Our son SO enjoyed the Woodward...this place and the staff are nothing short of absolutely amazing. Our son had the best time. I was hesitant before going to leave him there but, once we got there I was completely comfortable. As a matter of fact...on the days we stayed at the resort, we hardly saw him because he stayed ALL DAY LONG. He even ate on his own there LOL! There is a skate park, BMX pump track, mega ramp into foam pit, trampoline park, parkour course and a foam pit to jump into. He was able to choose from bike, scooter or skateboard (nice equipment). There are some other options (snowboard thing but, he didn't do that). The staff spent so much quality time with him, it was awesome because it gave us time to go to the spa and VEG out at the beach and pool ourselves. Second thing I have to mention is the Tankah tour! I believe it is offered on Sundays and Wednesdays. Our tour guide was Cesar Ceme Contreras and HE WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. We went to Xel Ha on Monday and it was twice the cost and although we did enjoy it and have no complaints...it didn't even compare to the Tankah tour you can get through the resort limitless (25% all inclusive) and Cesar. We swam in several different cenotes, zip lined over a lake and had an amazing lunch. You can be as daring as flipping off a cliff into the cenote, dropping from a hand held zipline into a cenote or simply walking down steps into the refreshing cenote. Great for parents who want to watch their kids but not partake in the adventurous jumps. HIGHLY recommend this tour..it was the most memorable part of our trip! No strenuous walking...mostly solid safe paths. The spa was awesome! We had a couples massage and got their 45 mins early to use the cold/hot jacuzzi and sauna. It was so relaxing and cost us $112 total for 80 minute couples massage using our limitless resort credits. We are beach people and I was worried about this but, we loved the beach set up. Didn't have to worry about current, seaweed or sharks. It's so lovely! We enjoyed the private rock royalty, members only beach. LuLu was our waitress...she brought us a bucket w/ iced down beer and was so attentive. It was perfection! Food was good for the most part. We loved Frida, Ipanema and Le Petite Cochon. We ate at Frida on the deck, watched the evening show and had the best service and meal of our entire trip. I wish I would have written down the waiter and waitress names at Frida, they were AWESOME! And, I really couldn't believe how good room service was. We had butter spaghetti and I think it was called parmesan crusted chicken, it was SO good! Every time we ordered room service it came way quicker then expected. Eat breakfast at Ipanema...it's basically the same buffet as the market, just better service. We did buy Rock Royalty with our reservation and although it wasn't busy while we were there...was nice to have someone to make our reservations and help us with questions on our trip. Pirchardo was our guy and he was so helpful! We had NO issues getting chairs at the pool or beach anytime we came so, don't let that worry you, granted...we came at a slower season but, there are so many spots to go...and they had extra beach chairs they can bring out if needed. The entertainment is awesome! We enjoyed the shows Cons: These are petty at best but, thought I'd mention them so, others can prevent these teeny tiny issues. We had a hard time getting served cold beer at the pool. This is not the servers fault at all I can imagine it's hard to keep beer cold in such a warm climate. We did not have this issue at any of the indoor bars. The beach (mostly the wonderful Alex at the beach) keeps a cooler with beer and water filled with ice which we ended up just walking down there to get beer. The only beer options are mostly corona, corona light and modelo...which were great with us, delish (as long as it's COLD). Our room was a rock royalty deluxe platinum double. It was nice and well taken care of but, for the 3 of us...it was small. We didn't fret over this too much because we were hardly in the room. The bathroom doesn't really have a solid door and there were these little windows with shutters that you couldn't close so, no real bathroom privacy. Next time we will spend the extra money and get the deluxe 2 bedroom. Also, we were on the first floor and would have preferred to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor to have more of a view. We were in room 9126 and it wasn't a bad view...just no ocean view. I feel like we paid for an ocean view but, didn't get it. I will definitely request a room on higher floor in the future. I've seen complaints about noise but, we couldn't hear much outside of a kid with a high pitched scream. I am sensitive to noisy hotels but, couldn't hear anything from the room above us. When people scoot their chairs on the patios, that is loud but, the doors and walls are super solid so, it was ok. I put SO much time and energy into planning trips and always get my hopes and expectation up. With that said, we are already planning our trip back to Hard Rock Riviera Maya next year. It was amazing!!
