    Will not refund money due to their closure - STAY AWAY!!!

    We had reservations for March that had to be cancelled due to closing of hotel due to Covid. Have made numerous attempts to get refunded, but they will not refund our payment. I understand delays due to Covid but from March until now - over 6 months - it is not understandable. If this is how they do business, I would stay far away!!

    Cancled febuary, still havnt got my refund. Everytime I call, I keep getting the run around.

    I was going to stay here one night before checking in for a week at disney, but I cancled as soon as disney announced that they were closing. Disney gave me a full refund two days after I cancled. I called here immediately after disney and this place is still saying they can't issue a refund even after 6 MONTHS! I will defenantly not stay here once I come back down to Florida.

    Booked 2 rooms for March after staying several times. Had to cancel because they closed the amenities due to Covid-19.Didn’t seem right to travel and put others at risk since I am a healthcare worker. 6 months later still no refund. Spoke to IHG customer service several times still promise me a refund and call back I am still waiting.... ( I have recordings of customer service). Very frustrating, this has happened to many people. $1200.00 gone! I would be surprised to see this resort reopen. They have now deleted all their Facebook Pages. IHG should make this right with some type of credit!!!

    I booked a trip for April 2020. Due to COVID-19 our family was forced to cancel. It’s been 7 months and I have not received my refund. I’ve called and emailed and I’ve received no response other than that the hotel was closed and as such they could not process refunds. I’m struggling financially and I’d really like my refund.

    We would like to add to the pile of reviewers who have yet to receive a refund after being forced to cancel reservations in March because of COVID. Similarly, we were told 14 days initially, then up to 30 days, then 90 days... and on and on. We are now close to 6 months from the time of cancellation and we can get through to nobody. We are sent to someone in the Philippines who puts us on hold, transfers us and then the line eventually goes dead. Seriously? Interestingly, I know people who have booked this property through 3rd parties received their refunds right away. We booked directly with IHG and still have not been refunded. They have held over $1000 of our money for 6 months. Imagine if we owed IHG for 6 months? What would they charge us in interest? This literally takes hours out of our day trying to do it over the phone and eventually getting hung up on. Somebody in IHG please figure this out! We have a case number and cancellation number if that helps at all.
