We did a trip as a group of 5 married couples all right at 30 years old. This resort was perfect for that. We spent most our time at the main pool which was nice. The party pool was fun for a few minutes, but too crazy for us to hangout there. The access to Dreams water park was a nice perk as well. We were in the Xhale club which was good for our group. Our concierge, Willy, did an incredible job for us. We had dinner reservations every night and all 10 of us ate together. Dinner was good everywhere. Hibachi and French was probably the consensus favorites. The beach was nice but didn’t swim much. The entertainment at night and throughout the day was good. Our room was nice and clean. AC was just fine the whole time. The service everywhere was good except one meal we felt like they forgot about us. Everywhere else was friendly and prompt.

I love Shark :) had a great time on this trip - even without sun my first few days I had a great time! Food was good - rooms were always cleaned, and champagne was always flowing! We will absolutely be back. Can’t wait to for the next time we come!!!!!

Room is very comfortable, the floors were a little slippery upon arrival: most likely due to cleaning which is appreciated. Does impose a bit of a risk otherwise room was excellent! Was raining the first few days I arrived but even so, I was a nice experience. There are always events and the people who work the resort are super friendly. We got to know Shark and Versace at the resort they were helpful in finding activities. I ordered champagne often as it was consistent and delicious. The pool parties were dope and the buffet was very tasty. Pasta station hit me like my mama wish she did! Overall a very nice time at breathless resort. The beach was beautiful.

It is a nice resort in a nice area that has multiple pools and many restaurants and bars. Overall, the food is good like the other resorts, and so are the bars. For some reason, bar service to you at the pools and beach was lacking, and the beach and pool loungers are older and basic. If you are in the preferred club (Xhale at Breathless) then you really only get the Xhale lounge and restaurant as an upgrade. The Xhale pools are small pools on the edges of the resort and offer nothing as an upgrade. Same loungers and same lack of service. The preferred hotel room is big, but nothing special like at other resorts. The service level of everyone we encountered was very good. The waiters, bar staff and Griselda, the Xhale club concierge, were great too....there was just poor service to you if you wanted a drink. Overall, it is a fine resort, but not on the level of other Breathless and Secrets resorts we have been to, and not worth paying for the "Preferred" club experience.

We had a party of 6 ladies and the resort was awesome! Especially our host/butler Gricelda Garcia. She took special care of us and executed every moment of our vacation. She made sure our Photoshoot, excursions and daily needs were met. Definitely recommend having her to complete your stay.
