Great Resort and even better resort staff!!

Resort was superb as always. The food was great especially the restaurants. The staff is why we continue to come back to this resort! Special kudos to Carlos are bartender on the 8th floor bar. You cannot get better customer service!! Also shout outs to Jerry on the 8th floor breakfast shift!! Alexis at the buffet and Moises and Rafael our bartenders at the Adult pool!! Maria our housekeeper was beyond excellent!! And last but not least Jesus our bell hop! He always remembers us and gives us exceptional service!! A plus all around! Will be back later this year!!

Jesus the best!!

Jesus is the best bellboy at the resort!!Remembers our names every year and greets us everyday.Never have used anybody else unless he had a day off! Never see him standing around, he is always moving. This is the second year we have met his family for the day of the children, always a pleasure!

Very disappointed

Disappointed big time. Did not get reservation for dinner at all, manager level staff and hotel staff very unaccomodative. All the servers and room cleaning were good. Felt like racism for not knowing Spanish. Service desk never pick up phone, inadequate and inefficient staff at front desk for check in. Play area allows only one game to play at a time and needs to check in for it. Hotel Manager was rude and not helping at all. I would not even recommend this resort to my enemy.

Beautiful view but resort gets mixed reviews

Currently spending a week at CPC. We always enjoy time with our family, but we have mixed feelings about the resort itself. The employees however are hardworking and we look forward to seeing many of them year after year. There are a number of employees who stood out and made our visit more enjoyable. Carla at the front desk provided the smoothest checkin we have ever had at CPC. Carlos (bartender at Crown Lounge & Trafalgars) is fun and personable and he remembers our family from previous visits. Moises at the adult pool bar works hard and could really use an assistant or partner to get to everyone during the peak hours of the day. Jesus the bellboy is always a huge asset to the team, he remembers us and is always happy to help. Room for improvement 1) Specialty restaurant menus have really decreased the choices offered. Los Gallos and Waynes Boots used to be our favorites, but now they are nothing special. 2) We were disappointed to hear that the mariachi band no longer plays at Los Gallos. Our family has been visiting CPC for 20+ years, and this was the first time we didn’t see them. Los Gallos atmosphere is not the same without them. ?? 3) One afternoon the resort lost power, it was restored before dinnertime but the restaurants were very warm that evening and we ended up with a few family members sick that evening. I suspect there may have been a problem with the food being kept at a safe temperature. 4) Housekeeping did not leave washcloths or other towels on a number of occasions. Not sure if they have enough to keep appropriately stocked.

Nice resort with an excellent staff!!

We had a great time, we arrived and got checked in quickly and had our bags at our room shortly after. All inclusive is both good and bad. The good is you can eat and drink to your heart's content, but there were just too many people that continued to be served when they had obviously had far too much!
