For a family vacation on Waikiki, this Hyatt Centric was a great find and value. The room was spacious and well appointed. Even as an entry-tier Hyatt member, our front desk host Maliae make my family feel absolutely welcome and valued, and she gave us some great local food recommendations.

Great place to stay. Wonderful location and view. Off the main road and located around town. 24/7 information desk. Lea the room attendant did an amazing job everyday and left the place looking new. Everyone here is very friendly and respectful.

I have stayed at the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach several times and it has quickly become my “go to” place to stay in Honolulu. Property is always clean and well kept. The staff has always been amazing! Friendly, responsive, and very helpful. The hotel is in Waikiki and although this is not the easiest location to get to, it is a convenient location to stay. Short walks to the beach, zoo, shopping, food, bars, and nightlife. Parking garage is a little tight, but it’s clean and safe. Do yourself a favor and get a smaller rent a car. LOL. It is not ridiculously small, but if you are driving a Pathfinder or larger, you will need to be careful going up and down. There is a fridge in the room and the shower is spacious. Beds were comfy and the rooms are generally very clean. Towels are pretty thick and I had no complaints. There is a small safe, coffee maker, iron, and hair dryer in the room as well. Full disclosure; the pool is small and there are not a lot of food options “inside” the hotel, but there are lots of food options right around the corner. No microwave in your room, but there is one for the public to use, in the lobby. There are books and games that you can checkout from the lounge area, as well as a small gym, if you want to work out. I really enjoy my stays at this hotel. If you don’t have unrealistic expectations, this is a nice place to stay.

Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Close to everything, the shops and restaurants are within walking distance, as is the beach it’s great as we didn’t have a car but you really didn’t need one. Highly recommend.

We hosted our wedding block with the Hyatt centric and everything went amazing. The staff and hotel was wonderful and exceeded our expectations! The hotel is very close to The beach and all of the shopping and restaurants in the Waikiki area. We’re very pleased with everything and would definitely stay here again and recommend to future guests.
