Kids Loved Pool Slides
callme5431 on May 04, 2024
Pools were excellent with great food/beverage services. Kids especially loved the many pool slides! The staff was very respondent to any of our needs. I just wished they would offer different pillow options (like many high quality hotels).
Great stay just a few things weren't perfect

Great stay. Clean room, spacious and comfortable. The room had ample space for my wife and I. We were able to sleep comfortably and relax. The only thing we had issue with was the arrival as we were late and didn't get there til 1 or 2AM. Then the key for the room didn't work. After a trip to the front desk, we had to call security/maintenance. They arrived and had to replace the battery in the door lock and let us in. After a 6 hour plane ride, a 3 hour drive, 30 minute wait for the room at 230AM, we made it into our room. 830AM, construction noise was unbearably loud. I went to the front desk and their response was "hotel has been under renovation for a while." I wasn't informed ahead of time. I explained to them that for 700/night, that's unacceptable. They weren't overly helpful, but didn't give me a small resort credit and paid for my parking. I was satisfied and moved on and just dealt with the noise. Overall aside from those two things, great stay at a great place.
No Response to my flooring issues

When I arrived, I noticed the flooring in front of the bathroom door opening was separating from the subfloor and the next morning it was much worse and I tripped and broke my toenail on it. I reported it to the front desk and they did not fix it or move me to a different room. I had to deal with this for my entire stay Mon-Thurs. Not the kind of service I expect especially for how much the resort costs to stay.
Good for the area, but not worth the price.

The pool area is nice with the lazy river and water slides, although it can get pretty crowded and hectic at times. I was shocked to see the resort allowing people bring their dogs to the pool, that shouldn’t be allowed. A lot of the guests are staying via their employer for corporate events, so they aren’t paying to be there and tend to be the rowdy people and don’t follow the rules. The food and drinks are expensive and nothing special. The lounge bar and restaurant looks like it belongs in a conference room or meeting space, and so not very inviting or relaxing. Overall the resort is ok, but not really worth more than one visit at $700+ a night.
So much fun

We visited Coachella weekend and had such an amazing time. Great service throughout this resort. Food was great. The pool was amazing and well staffed with diligent lifeguards and friendly food and cleaning workers. For Coachella weekend, the music at the pool was super fun and festive. We were a family traveling with little kids, but all ages were having a wonderful time. Well run hotel that makes it easy to have fun with family or friends. We have Hyatt Globalist status and got a complimentary suite upgrade and breakfast was great. Highly recommend.
