    My boyfriend and I recently visited the Hyatt Zilara in July and had a memorable and lovely experience. What sets this resort apart from any other is the outstanding service that we experienced. We had met some amazing staff and hope that any future guest has the pleasure of meeting them too! Special thanks to the lovely Arturo that we saw every morning for breakfast and adored as he always made conversation and treated us like royalty! Thank you to Alfredo for being the kindest lunch server and to chef Octavio that made the best burgers during lunch time (MUST try). Barista Eduardo at the swim up bar is the absolute best and will make you the perfect margarita.

    Girls Trip Destination of My Dreams!

    I just returned from an amazing "Girls Trip" to the Zilara Hyatt in Cancun, Mexico with my dear friends of 25 years from Howard University (Washington, DC - HU!). Perfecto. That's my review. From the service, the food, the rooms, the activities, the beach...I cannot find one complaint. And if you are lucky enough to meet one of their excellent staff members...Luis Leal...while dining in the Pelicano Restaurant...well you are in for a great experience and a lot of laughs!

    Once we checked in there were a number of things that needed repair the patio door did not lock, the mini bar did not work and had to be replaced, and the air needed repairing. Being a 4 diamond resort these items should have been discovered by the staff prior to being issued the room. Also there was a movie being produced at the resort which interfered with our stay. The entire main lobby seating and lobby bar was closed (Monday-Friday) and moved to much smaller area the sport bar, which became over crowded. A section of the pool was closed to the hotel guests (Monday -Friday) for the movie. Lastly we were held inside the outside restraint for about 10 minutes as not to interfere with the movie. The property was property was pretty well maintained except the magic box was not emptied on a regular basis.

    All the restaurant's are amazing. Especially the buffet. Our room service was amazing. The beach was clean. my favorite part was all the beautiful yet delicious deserts from the buffet. You'll enjoy the all inclusive.

    Great resort, terrible booking experience (Orbitz)

    Resort was absolutely phenomenal. Exceeded expectations and the Hyatt actually helped us when some mishaps came up due to Orbitz booking errors. Orbitz messed up our arrival time AND our departure time so we had no ride to and from the airport that we had paid for. The Hyatt ended up sending us a shuttle as well as a taxi. Had it not been for them, we would have been stuck at the airport upon arrival and would have missed our departing flight. Thank you Zilara!
