My husband and I just spent 7 days at Secrets the Vine. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go ahead if we were looking for relaxing, laid back all inclusive. We paid for the premium and originally were on the 21st floor. We have read that the adjacent resorts can be noisy (Hard Rock for odd numbered rooms). We did not have an issue with this at all and enjoyed listening to the music that ended by 10:15 most evening. However, our room 2123 was beside the service elevator and 21st floor lobby and quite noisy due to service staff - late at night and early in the morning. If you get a room near the elevator I would ask for a different one. We requested a change on day 5, our request was handled quickly, and it was MUCH better. Pros: service is friendly and attentive, check in was fast and easy, there are many and large pools, high end spirits, the beach is lovely, the coffee and dessert bar in the lobby is yum, beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious - they all have beautiful ocean views. The entertainment crew are fun and friendly. The overall vibe is pretty low key so if you’re looking to party this might not be your spot. It was perfect for us. Very pleased with the experience! The food was great, rooms were nice, staff was amazing. Only complaint is you can't swim in the water and the beach is not the nicest, as well as the drinks were not strong.

My wife and I (30 and 31) took our first all inclusive trip and ended up here at the secrets the vine in Cancun. Not knowing what to expect, we were taken away by the friendliness of the staff. We had early morning flights so we were here 5 hours before checkin, but we were able to enjoy all of the amenities of the resort prior to getting into our room. The day time entertainment around the pool area was great and Angel (entertainment department) was not only hilarious and outgoing, but was truly interested on how our experience was. The artists that played the evenings we were here (4/29-5/2) were all great performers especially the violinist who play beautifully. The food all tasted great, the only critic I would give would be a couple of the restaurants had inexperienced wait staff who wouldn’t let us order an appetizer while we decided on our main course. In a positive side, The wait staff at the Italian restaurant the night we are there were extremely patient with a very ungrateful and “difficult” party at the table next to us. They handled it very professionally. We found a seat at the beach or around any of the pools at any time of the day for us (mon-fri). The best bar for drinks outside is the lower bar at the beach. All in all we had a great experience, clean rooms, got bottled drinking water anytime we needed it.

Was booked in for 2 weeks at this all inclusive resort and ended up getting flights back 7 days later, this is defo not a 5 star. The food was very poor restaraunt service very poor. The whole place needs a refurb and staff would only give better service if u tipped regularly and one point they were heard speaking to each other if I had tipped. Sun beds were all gone by 7am and half the time they wer not being used just towels or belongings on them. Most of the parasols were torn or broke and most loungers around the pool were tatty and broke. I’ve stayed at other 5 star in cancun so would defo recommend u don’t book this resort. Only booked this as previously stayed at secrets in pourto Vallarta and that’s was amazing

This was my first all inclusive resort and it was better than I could have hoped for. The resort had plenty of places to explore and is right by the beach. Location isn’t too far from downtown or other tourist spots, food/drinks were amazing, and staff were incredible. Staff members Sergio, Rojelio and Diego all made the stay amazing and very enjoyable.
