One week stay at Melia Varadero.

We overall had a great time. The resort has a lot of activities during day and night. The beach is amazing and clean. The staff are very friendly and get to know you, from the reception team to the gardeners, Always available to offer a fresh coconut. The food is very good, especially at the buffet and the Fuerteventura restaurant, where the staff provides impeccable service. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Is a great place to relax your days away or participate in activities.

Not great, you can easily find a better resort for the same price.

Went with 3 families, with individuals aged from 20-70. Here is what we thought: Pros: 1) The Japanese restaurant was delicious [4.5/5] 2) The cleaning service was great (they clean later in the day) 3) The beach party was very fun! (only on Saturdays) [5/5] 4) Gorgeous newly renovated rooms, ask for floor 4 or above! [5/5] Neutral: 1) 50/50 with staff friendliness, this was in extremes. Either they were beyond kind and helpful, or they acted like you were a complete bother. Very person dependent. [3/5] 2) Beach was .. okay (on the smaller side) [3/5] 3) Very low key and SMALL resort 4) Food was okay [3.5/5] 5) Pool party... wasn't really a pool party. They played music for a bit with x1 game. Cons: 1) Old floor 1 & 2 rooms were a complete disaster. [1/5] 2) Entertainment was awful! It was all in a small room, when they had such a beautiful white stage outside! They need to capitalize on that! [1/5] 3) Small kiddie pool, 1 small adult pool [2/5] 4) No swim-up bar 5) Long lineups for everything... including food at the buffet, the a la carte restaurants need you to book at 7:30AM to even think about getting in [2.5/5] 6) Their 'disco club' never had anyone in it. [-1000/5] 7) Music was never played outside near the pool. This would be a quick easy fix to help enhance the atmosphere! 8) Dance lessons, games, etc were all in the dirt in a small area outside the pool... why not do it on the stages, at the pool, or even at the beach. SO many more gorgeous areas they could have opted for. [1/5] To summarize: A very small, very quiet hotel with not much to do. No real activities or entertainment. Food is alright. Newly renovated rooms are great. Truly only enjoyed 1/7 days, that of which they had the pool and beach party. Advice from other travellers we talked to? Go to Melia Cayo Coco instead.

I have just a complaint. The wifi in my room was so bad and I never could use it there. But the hotel experience was amazing. Everything was good.

The Daiquiri bar boasts excellence, and the bartender Dialena truly knows her craft. The cocktails she crafted was nothing short of superb, showcasing her expertise. This marked my inaugural experience with a variation of Cocktails produced by Dialena. and I can confidently express my newfound affection for cocktails. The overall ambiance and Dialena's infectious smile and mixology skills make it a memorable place for indulging in delightful libations.
