Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa

We went in Oct 2020. In spite of COVID, we had an INCREDIBLE experience! The pool was fully open, as was the water slide, lazy river, pool bar and restaurant. There was no crazy covid police and people were chill. They also had their family movie night at the pool on the Fri night we were there. The market by the lobby had good food and drinks. I absolutely LOVED our stay, especially because things were open here! There is nothing better than laying by the pool, and having someone get you drinks and food. Both of our kids had a blast! HIGHLY recommend this place. Of course, rooms were clean and well maintained to Hyatt standards.

The hotel was well staffed & prepared for the long MLK weekend. Staff was all very courteous. The grounds were beautiful; room spacious. Pools were great; lazy river a dream and slides just awesome. The hotel was very COVID conscious and most guests all complied with the mask requirements. For the few who didn't have a mask on, the staff was ready to provide one. Overall, a very lovely stay!

The staff was amazing, the accommodations were amazing, the overall cleanliness of the rooms and resort were A+ The reason for the less than spectacular rating, was the the lack of Covid precautions. Not one person took our temperature. Which means, the hundreds of people staying at the resort didn't get their temperatures taken and also means that the hundreds of adults and kids (not wearing a mask) in the pool area didn't get their temperatures taken either! But, there was a security guard checking bags for speakers and alcohol? The lazy river should not be open at this time. Kids cannot social distance on their own. We came back from Cabo a couple weeks ago. Resorts there take your temp at every turn and also ask you to sanitize. We left feeling like our safety mattered. I will definitely return to this amazing resort. After some necessary precautions are taken.

The staff was really exceptional and truly made you feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Stayed in the Penthouse Suite and man were the views spectacular both day and night. The room was very spacious and having 1 and 1/2 baths was a huge bonus with the kids being with us. The kids loved the water slides and countless pools. We're already booking our next trip now. Can't wait to get back.

What’s not to love about Palm Springs? We’re asked all the time why we keep going back time after time and the answer is simple…… Why wouldn’t we? The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells offers guests everything they could ask for when it comes to a Palm Springs experience. You pull up to the Hotel and instantly in awe of the grounds, golf course clubhouse and the landscaping. At the lobby the towering Palms and Water features dance for your enjoyment while the valet leap to your service. The check in process is quick and the different room categories offer Golf, Mountain or Pool side views. If you’re looking for more room, the family villa’s offer beautiful and more private options for those discerning guests. Step outside and take in the grounds with all the beautiful flowers, plants and palm tree’s everywhere you look. The property offers family pools with waterslides, lazy river and plenty of activities to keep the kids busy, or an Adult only pool outfitted with Cabanas, a small canteen bar area and music for guests looking to escape. The two PGA championship golf courses “Players” and “Celebrity” courses are adjacent to the Hotel on the neighboring property. The valet can whisk you over to club house and help you offload your clubs so you can check in and relax before your game. If Golf isn’t your thing, at night the Mini-Golf course is set up for families to enjoy. The Golf courses offer some of the best views in the Coachella Valley and they are in great condition to play on. The Dining at the Hotel is limited but if you’d like to stay in and eat, the food quality is good and we’d give it 3-4 stars. However, for people looking for higher end meals, El Paseo Drive is a 10min drive or Uber away and the strip offers some fantastic restaurants to pick from. Some of our Favourites on El Paseo are Il Corso, Mastro’s and Pacifica. At night the gas fire cauldrons are lit for guests to relax and enjoy the evening musicians that are often brought in. The Spa Agua Serena is beautiful and provides several water features to relax by before or after your treatment. The Gym on the property is well equipped but in the morning hours from 7-8am it can become quite busy, so wake up earlier or sleep in and let the crowds dissipate. Hyatt Regency Indian Wells is a beautiful property that will provide an excellent Palm Springs experience for anyone looking to visit the area. The Hotel isn’t overpriced, offers plenty of options for daily activities and a great location in the heart of Indian Wells.
