Beautiful resort. Well laid out. Close to the airport and not in the hotel zone (huge plus from my perspective). We were in the swim out suite facing the circular pool, which I highly recommend. Both the swim out room and the circular pool! A waiter comes by to take your drink orders! Room was well sized with good seating areas. Loved the rain showers (also detachable shower head in case rain shower is not your thing). Service is excellent. Friendly but not overbearing. I had a good experience at all of the restaurants, any bars I visited, front desk, coffee shop, housekeeping, and room service. Food is pretty good. Buffet was very fresh and there was lots of variety for breakfast and lunch. They are very attentive to allergies and even though I’m not vegetarian there appeared to be lots of options for those who didn’t want meat and seafood. Loved the Mexican breakfast options and the various salsas in particular. And ice creams. Yum. Restaurants are uneven. I enjoyed agua bendita (Mexican) and olios (Greek) the most. Portions are modest to reduce waste, which I appreciated. They do enforce dress codes so definitely make sure you prepare! Drinks were meh and probably drove down my rating from a five to a four. Cocktails were very sweet and watered down. Frozen drinks were tasty nonetheless. The gym has a bit of everything—free weights and machines, treadmills, elliptical, two big tvs. Mornings were crowded but it was basically empty after about 11am. Very clean and well kept. The beach is beautiful! Lots of cabanas that hardly were ever occupied. There also were hammocks and plenty of beach chairs too. They rake the heavy seaweed every morning but it’s quite thick. Didn’t bother me but fyi. We didn’t try out the evening entertainment but people definitely seemed to be enjoying themselves. There was a cover band, karaoke, saxophone player—plenty of variety. The crowd at the resort was pretty chill. People definitely were drinking and having a good time, but nobody acting out or being rude. I loved that! Also a very diverse crowd across so many demos, which was cool to see. I saw old and young, gay and straight, lots of couples but also groups of friends and a few families, folks literally of all races. Anyway, overall a very relaxing resort where the staff works hard to make everything easy for you. They sent a cute and tasty cake for my birthday as well, which I didn’t expect but really appreciated. Thank you, Haven!

Was an amazing experience. Our whole family enjoyed staying here and would coke back again . Highly recommend . The rooms were lovely, service was amazing . Staff were so friendly , considerate and caring .

Come for the food but definitely not for the drinks. The majority of the drinks are made with cheap alcohol and premade mixes. The food however was delcious.

We spent 4 days at the Haven and it’s a great resort we had an upper level room with a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed the restaurants all had delicious food , the Asian restaurant was our favorite. Flavors was the buffet restaurant and was open for breakfast,lunch.and dinner which was great. They had many different types of food and everything was really good. There was one waiter named Enrique who was exceptional he did his very best to make us feel special. The pools and swim up bars were also amazing. The only complaint I could see was they could sure use a lobby bar were you could get drinks inside during the day. Would definitely recommend this place great views,service,food and prices are reasonable.

Don’t think about it, just go. It’s worth it. Great service, great atmosphere, incredible people and they work hard to keep you accommodated for. Seriously, just do it.
