Location is good, near the airport for easy travel. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing with fun entertainment. Room was quiet and clean. Kept cool and would highly recommend the jetted tub. The cool breeze in the evenings off the ocean while relaxing in the jetted tub was amazing. Value, I would say was well worth the money. Upgrading to serenity made it that more special. Having the butler to help with all your needs and schedule all your reservations was so worth it, the spa that comes with the upgrade was a great value. The food was great. The service was great. The only downfall is the awful sargrassam and smell. The beach otherwise would be beautiful. There pools could stand to be a little cooler as they were pretty warm and not refreshing in the heat. A special thanks to Enrique, Colonga, Carlos and Arturo. These four guys were absolutely amazing! I can't say enough good things about these guys. The serenity lounge was nice and cool and had the best chocolate! Visited the coffee shop but always so full from other options we didn't really try it but looked amazing!

Very disappointed with this stay. Having stayed at three other hotels in the area, this was by far the worst, especially for the price. The biggest issue is the beach. It’s completely unusable because of the massive amount of sargassum that isn’t cleaned up. There’s no access to the sea, and unlike all the neighboring resorts, this hotel doesn’t even have anti-sargassum barriers. And the smell from the seaweed is awful, like rotten eggs, it makes spending time near the beach extremely unpleasant. Another major downside is the constant construction noise all around the hotel. The noise starts early in the morning and is loud enough to wake you up, really ruining any relaxing atmosphere. The spa was also a huge disappointment. The hydrotherapy circuit is very basic and not worth the extra cost. Unfortunately, the service didn’t make up for these issues either. Around 80% of the staff came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, which made the overall experience even more disappointing. There are a few positive points. The rooms are comfortable, housekeeping does a great job. and the hotel itself is very clean. Also, the restaurants with reservations serve good food and were one of the highlights of our stay. Still, between the beach conditions, the bad smell, the construction noise, the disappointing spa, and the poor service, this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the region. I would not return.

From check in to checkout was fabulous. Enrique our butler made is trip amazing for 30 yr anniversary and 25 yr teacher retirement. Enrique made all dinner arrangements, hot tub filled, even went to Walmart for Pepsi, sent daily activities even on his day off. He found us throughout the day in person to talk. Bars and restaurants-Carlos, Colunga, little dude up top bar by main pool, and Arturo made the days and evenings memorable. Vistas had the coldest beer in town so to speak. Italian restaurant for breakfast would make us items not even on the menu. Vistas for lunch everyday, the same made us whatever we wanted. No reason to go anywhere else beef tacos for the wife and anything with shrimp for me. Ever dinner we went to was great with superb service. We at ate every place possible. Thank goodness for the serenity lounge it got us out of the heat for a nice refreshing break. The spa/hydo was amazing with Ana and I think Lalinda or Lacinda. Bingo with Charlie Brown and the Tahani dance team was a blast, you got to see the dancers be themselves away from their theater. Shots for everyone! Spent some time in Limes bar was cool with the glass televisions. They were great there with nuts and bigger glasses. The only bummer was of course the smell of seaweed, can't help mother nature, but that did not stop our morning walks. The pools were a bit warm as the day progressed and didn't make if refreshing. Common areas and bathrooms were completely spotless. I can't say enough about the staff kind of a family atmosphere here. I can answer any questions that you might have about this resort. Lee W. We had an amazing experience at Haven Riviera Cancun from start to finish. The resort was beautiful, extremely clean, and overall an excellent value for the quality of the experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, modern, and very well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay, and the room and common areas of the resort were consistently clean. Everything felt well cared for. Considering the quality of the rooms, property, food, drinks, amenities, and especially the service, we felt the value was excellent for what we paid. What really made our stay memorable, though, was the incredible staff. A huge shoutout to Raul, the nighttime lobby bartender. Raul was absolutely outstanding and easily one of the highlights of our trip. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome every night. He remembered what we liked, always made sure we were taken care of, and was just an all-around great person to talk to. You could tell he genuinely cared about the guests and wanted everyone to have a great experience. During the day, Alma, Pedro, and Ernesto at the pool bar were equally incredible. All three went above and beyond for us. They were always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, even when the pool area was busy. They didn’t just serve us drinks—they made sure we were comfortable, checked on us throughout the day, and made us feel like valued guests. Their personalities and service made spending our days at the pool that much more enjoyable. The staff can make or break a vacation, and Raul, Alma, Pedro, and Ernesto absolutely made ours better. Haven Riviera Cancun is lucky to have people like them representing the resort. Between the beautiful and clean property, comfortable rooms, great value, and outstanding service, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return. A special thank you again to Raul, Alma, Pedro, and Ernesto for taking such great care of us and making our vacation one we’ll remember!

The resort has one noisy pool and one chilled relaxing pool. I Highly recommened the chill pool with Pedro as bartender! He makes the best drinks and whatever you like! 10/10 experience
