    Beautiful Property and great service

    We stayed in the swim out Serenity club (room 4007). Room and view amazing. Location to other amenities was great. The only problem is the room was by the elevator and is sounded like the guests outside your room were in the room screaming. Also, there was “activity” through the night that woke me up frequently. Other than the noise issue everything else was amazing. The service was excellent. Olivia by the pool and Louis our butler were super. Would like to see the liquor quality improve. Unless you ask, you will get the cheap stuff. Olivia figured out how to get us dark rum and would bring extra shots with the pina colada. This did the trick. Tip the staff well! They work hard and try to make your stay amazing. Best food was the hibachi grill. Not sure what the fuss about Olios is. Slow service, small plates and just ok. For sure better than any other all inclusive but some reviews say “best meal of their life”... not sure where they have eaten in the past. Oh yes, Limes bar is a great place to sit outside and enjoy the view and atmosphere! Great drinks here

    I want to start by saying that I never leave reviews. This resort was LOVELY! We had a swim-out ocean front room with the Serenity package. the room was perfect, the service was fantastic and the food was delicious!! The resort is small, quiet and cozy, which is exactly what we were looking for! For those looking for night life, it’s there but on a smaller scale. They hosted activities and events, of which we politely declined. ?? We were there to relax and that’s exactly what we did! If you’re looking for a laid back, chill vibe with super gourmet food, Haven is it! There are only 2 things we wish we would have known going into the trip...1. We were in room 4010, which was right by the main pool in the center of the resort! It was a fabulous location but kind of loud. We could hear the pool dj until he was done for the night (not super late) and the party goers going back to their rooms and whatnot. I would choose building 1 or 6 in the future for more quiet! 2. Skip the Mexican Steak House. Do 2 nights at the Mediterranean restaurant or Hibachi but we were not pleased with the Mexican Steak House. The steak was a hockey puck and the rest was just so so. That seemed to be a common theme with other guests we talked to. The other restaurants we went to (which was all of them) were fantastic! Aside from those two things, our trip was great! Beautiful resort, the kindest staff, and memories to last a lifetime! We will be back! ??

    Let me start by saying that the hubby and I travel a lot (pre-covid at least). This hotel is near Riviera Maya, which is not in the heart of Cancun. However, this place is one of the BEST HOTELS we have ever stayed!! No joke. Now, this was our 25 year anniversary/hubby's birthday vacation so we did spend a little $$. Our suite was next to the Presidential Suite so it was pricey but it was 100% worth it!! Our butler, Manuel, was so great. He was there for us when we needed him. For the hubby's birthday, he booked us a dinner reservation at Olios, which is the steakhouse on the resort. IT WAS PERFECT!! Andres was our server and he was perfect. The restaurant manager, Javier was absolutely amazing and the chef, Elisoa cooked the most amazing meal I think we've ever had, and we have had some great meals. I mean, the food was spot on!! At Vora, which is the seafood restaurant, Oswaldo, Ricardo, and Luis were so perfect, I can go on and on. The servers around the pool were so incredibly sweet and ready to get whatever drink we wanted. I felt bad that we moved from one pool to the next because one female server, Marilu, had planned this birthday celebration for the hubby but we moved from the Serenity pool to the main pool to catch some shade. Augustin, the bartender was amazing and Lelo the mixologist so so great. He was doing his thing at the bar called Limes, and everything he made was tasted so great. Vistas was a restaurant for the Serenity Club guests, which we were. This food was good EXCEPT FOR ONE ITEM: oysters Rockefeller. I love oysters and this was not good but that was the only thing I would say that is negative. We did have a door lock issue but the second Manuel was called about it, he was on it. Manuel called Oscar, Raul. Jose, and Roberto. I mean they were there in less than 5 minutes and it turned out to be a small electrical issue that was fixed, no problem. That's how great the staff is. To have all of these employees ready to fix a small issue, they knew what they were doing, willing to assist 24/7, made sure you were relaxing, having a good time, went above and beyond to make our vacation all the more special. We met some great people there and we didn't want to leave. The covid testing was quick and easy and the results came back in no time. (I wouldn't wish covid on anyone but if I could have stayed longer, I would have). Trust me, we travel a lot but we fell in love with this place so much that we're planning on going back for my birthday in August and are considering spending New Year's Eve '22 at this resort. Yes, it's pricey but worth it. The staff was great, this place is clean, the food was great (except for the oysters), and the drinks were so good. This will be a place that we will go back to every year or two. No joke. This place is PERFECT!!!

    First and most importantly you must know how the customer service in this place is AMAZING !!! Their efforts, hard work , attention to detail does not go unnoticed . I can tell you first off the person whom cleaned the room for the entire floor Mr. Julian , was great he even tidied up my shoes and placed them together my jewelry set in one corner and everyday i had fresh towels without having to request anything in addition to. I never felt rushed to leave the room or for him to clean. My bartenders JC, Hugo, Angel, Lalo you guys were amazing , patient and always at our groups disposal ( we were a group of 12) we always had a water bottle handy and tequilas lined up. Lalo is the bartender in the Lime lounge , he introduced us to Palomas . Omg they were so refreshing soft and no hangover over here !!!! The jewelry staff Carmen and Daniel wow, they were patient and very knowledge on their merchandise . Super honest, and i appreciate them not hovering or persisting me or my spouse into a purchase. They were amazing !!!! Our activity coordinators for beach volleyball and basketball , Paola and Daniella , they were champs . Our group was always 2 people short and they were out there joining to we would have even teams . Always greeting us even outside in the halls of the resort. Our servers , Luis and Adrian they were so engaged with our group , remembered our names by memory on the first day (impressive) they were always reaching out to see we had all the food at the table or if we needed anything in addition. They would travel from one building to another (walking) to reach out for any liquor or drinks we wanted and didn’t have, always with a smile on their face & acknowledging our presence at all times !!!! Our concierge Denise , lovely personality very informative , is 12 of us had a question she would direct to us so patiently, thank you!! To our Amstar drivers, thank you for being on time , accommodating us in your bus comfortable and making us feel safe. Our Amstar event director Danny , our English doll , you were amazing . My husband and i cannot thank you enough for recommending such an unforgettable excursion, for making sure all 12 of us were booked on time ready to go . For planning our trip back to the airport safely . We are thankful . Our excursion tour guide, Rebecca ... thank you for the patience , for our last minute stop. For you and your driver, not getting discourage and making the tour later . We enjoyed the tour around Tulum and Zip lining , the Cenotes were a beauty !! Your knowledge and history on the city is amazing. Never left any questions unanswered. We thank you for the wonderful 8 days in this beautiful resort with an amazing staff.

    We chose Haven due to its “bang for your buck” and I’ve gotta say, it’s way underpriced. The room, the service, the pools, grounds, the food, was all amazing. We previously stayed at Moon Palace and The Grand with our kids and family, and are both super great, but we wanted something quiet and adults only (with heated pools!). We loooved Haven. It was exactly what we were looking for. We could spend the day on an exciting excursion and look forward to returning to a nice peaceful oasis which is exactly what Haven is. We stayed in suite 1003, which is a Serenity Club Swim Out Ocean Front suite. It was a game changer. The room faced the ocean and we woke up to a sunrise everyday. We even slept with the large pool door open a couple nights to hear the ocean waves and feel the warm breeze. Well worth the price. Oddly, we didn’t have neighbors the entire week. The bellboy, Angel Liborio, was super helpful and was always tentative and super upbeat/friendly. Room service was timely and ALWAYS got our order right. We ordered VERY often :) Cons: 1. Room is stocked with beer/water only - No liquor. 2. Wine bottles via room service were quite expensive. 3. We wanted to enjoy the hibachi grill at the Japanese restaurant on the last night but the hostess informed it was by reservation only. This was frustrating as this was not stated anywhere and we were not informed by the butler service. 4. The Serenity club snack bar above the pool was often missing employees when we arrived and according to their hours they were open but no employee was around to serve us. We ended up eating at another restaurant. Overall a great experience and we would go back again.
