Unique Night Club at Moon Palace The Grand will be temporarily closed for maintenance starting Monday, July 22nd until further notice. During this period, Noir Night Club located in the Sunrise Lobby will be open from Monday to Saturday, operating from 10:30 pm to 03:00 am, ensuring guests continue to enjoy nightly entertainment as usual.
Dedicated transportation will be provided to and from The Grand's lobby during Noir's operating hours to ensure seamless mobility for guests.

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun is the newest addition to the Palace family. Moon Palace The Grand Cancun presents a unique resort within a resort offering access to ten restaurants, nine pools, seven bars and one of the biggest spas in the area; Awe Spa.
Stay at 1, Play at 5 - Guests of Moon Palace the Grand Cancun have access to the services and amenities of select sister resorts including Beach Palace, Moon Palace Cancun, Playacar Palace and Sun Palace.

Awe Spa - Not relaxing

I am currently staying at the Grand at Moon Palace and I have the day that while the resort is beautiful, food is great, and in general the people are amazing, the Spa is extremely difficult to deal with. We decided to listen to their 90 min presentation with a promise of resort credits. The presentation took more than 90 mins and took us away from a much needed vacation. Waste of a day. I want to stress that we chose this resort for the kids friendly activities and the Spa. Even after speaking with management and signing waivers to do a deep tissue massage they refuse to do it because I had an collapsed disc over 20 years ago. I explained that it does not affect me and I'm not in any pain at all. I get deep tissue massages 2 to 3 times a month. This took much of my time today. I tried to explain and they agreed to do it if I signed the waiver. When I got back to my room they left a message cancelling my service. Again we lost a few hours of our day. Really not a relaxing experience so far.
Nice family vacation spot

This is a very large resort and we had a nice family vacations. It’s worth taking some time to get the lay of the land when you get there. You generally can’t find places to eat without having to wait in line Positives: Large rooms Water Park Golf instruction Fitness Room Spa, massage Food was very good with exception of the Hibachi restaurant Employees were generally quite friendly and helpful Scuba lessons Very easy to get drinks Negatives Hot water in room was not consistent The hard sell when checking in was brutal and then they tried to sell you at check out. Everything is a bit of a hassle to arrange The place is showing signs of wear and tear The Hotel credits are generally useless and can’t be used for most of the things you really want Pool side service is quite spotty Tulum tour from resort not worth the schlep.
