Nellie was incredible our whole stay! She made sure we were always attended to during the evenings and was the sweetest soul ever! We couldn’t have felt more taken care of :)

Everything was perfect clean, amazing staff, but if you do wanna go more than once because you enjoyed the first time, I suggest you join their privilege club. The service when you join the club is even better than when you’re just a normal guest. But either way everything was amazing in Bahia principe, food, pools, service, cleanliness all just amazing.

Particularly bad IT and room pre-selection experience. They send multiple emails urging you to select your room, even after you selected and committed to paying the up charges. If you are a large group such as ours (8, not really that large, be prepared for anything, including a room for your teenagers clear across the property. We’d pre selected all in the same building. That is an unforced error that gives a bad vibe for the rest of the trip. Especially when you find your teenagers room with three young Peruvian girls in the morning. Not acceptable. I had to enlist Hyatt corporate poor to arrival who were much more professional and knowledgeable, but still the IT department is holding even corporate hostage. The local staff are not sophisticated about family needs, to be charitable. So, having p.o.’d me, will say the beach is nice and there are plenty of beach chairs. You want to grab a palapa on the beach and not a beach chair unless you are a teen or well liquored up older person because it’s loud at the pool. You can hang at a pool back home. The beach vendors go after the women. I lost my wife at the beach and sat alone. No vendors talked to me. Sweet. Seaweed situation right now is good. Last year was way worse. Of course, it could change day to day. Absolute Vodka is included at the bar which is better than other PC resorts we’ve been to. We’ve been here about 6 times. Not hard to get a drink, pool bar on other side is easy to procure a drink from. I speak Spanish which helps but isn’t necessary. Tip them. It’s hot but the breeze makes it pleasant. Have a nice stay, after running the check in gauntlet/challenge. The World Cup of resort check in competition and the odds are stacked!

Please ignore the negative reviews about this hotel, it's a stunning place, we stayed here a few years ago and it has had a major reverb since then and it is even better now, great rooms, great food and those specialised restaurants are fantastic especially the one called Murta, a Mongolian theme, so good we went twice. It has a great beach with plenty of sun beds, the complex is spotless, the staff keep in very good condition, I found all the staff friendly and chatty especially Alian, in the main lobby bar, he was really good and looked after us so well, we watched the World cup football in the sports bar, the staff laid on loads of good for the supporters all the supporters from from Mexico, Argentina, Columbia and many more were all very friendly, even though England beat Mexico, they took it really well and they were all great, this is a really great hotel you won't be disappointed so just book it and go.
