The staff at Secrets Akumal were friendly, helpful and made us feel like part of their family. We especially enjoyed the quiet pool in the daytime - so relaxing! Our room was clean, spacious and well attended to by staff, including evening turn down service. The food at every restaurant was outstanding. This was our second trip here and we will be back.

We just returned from this resort and it is simply a brilliant holiday destination. The staff are incredible, the food out of this world and the facilities excellent. We will be returning!

Secrets Akumal exceeded every expectation — and then some. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. They knew our names, anticipated our needs, and poured their hearts into every single detail. This is the kind of hospitality you read about but rarely experience. The property itself is stunning — lush and jungle-like, with a gorgeous variety of restaurants, pools, and world-class entertainment. And I mean world-class. Every night was a full production, completely original and over the top in the best possible way. We chose the Preferred experience and cannot recommend it highly enough. Your own private beach area, exclusive club access, and — one of my personal favorite touches — Le Labo toiletries. It's the little things that elevate a stay from great to unforgettable. A few people who truly made our trip: ? Osuna & Reuben — orchestrated the most dramatic and joyful Bali Bed reveal for my husband's birthday. We were blown away. ? Riccardo — this man has an extraordinary memory. We met once and he remembered us three days later. Remarkable. ? Monica — our concierge went above and beyond to make every special moment happen seamlessly. ? Max & Alan — kept the energy and fun going with games and entertainment. ? Denisse — was in touch before we even arrived and made sure every special plan was executed flawlessly. We will absolutely be back. Secrets Akumal, you set the bar.

Just came back from my stay here for the first time and would definitely come back again. Had the opportunity to do the kayak tour with Alan who was absolutely outstanding and provided an amazing experience throughout my entire stay. Would highly recommend here if you love to snorkel as we saw plenty of turtles and stingrays.

?????????? We had the absolute best time at Secrets Akumal! My friends and I went for a girls trip and every moment from the minute we got there to the minute we left were perfection. Everything was extremely organized, clean, and beautiful. The resort definitely has a more “chill” vibe but we still had so much to do! Special shout out to Max who pulled us in to activities from day one and brought 100% energy every day, Alan & Carlos who brought the fun through stargazing, kayaking, and craft making, Ari who led us on her last paddle boarding tour #wearegonnamissyouAri, Diego who served us at Portifino, our wonderful sommelier (Alberto?) who led our wine tour, and Rueban and Ricardo who waited on us hand and foot by the pool. Every single staff member there was so warm & welcoming. We will definitely be back!!
