We are leaving today and hate to go!! We loved every minute here and on this beautiful island. Loved plane watching and the beach. Food was surprisingly very good at the restaurants. Highly recommend the ATV tour around the island and a day trip to Anguilla!

Welcoming, friendly staff. Food was excellent, Jane and Paula went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable! Definitely recommend the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino and can’t wait for our return!

I would rate this a 3.5 but there’s no option for that. The best thing about this resort is, by far, the ocean and beach. Is is GORGEOUS! I could stare at the water all day. Resort is good. Room was spacious with a big bed and lots of pillows. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and our room was cleaned early every day! The grounds are well maintained. The swim up pool bar is great but there’s only one bartender and even though he is outstanding considering the amount of drinks he makes, they could afford to have 2 bartenders There is a huge pool for families with water slides yet the kids are also allowed in the swim up bar pool which is pretty small to begin with. Why not restrict kids to the big pool? Really the only disappointment was the food. Breakfast was usually cold or lukewarm at best. We didn’t even eat lunch at all after looking at the options. Dinner was ok. Average at best. The Italian restaurant was best. We would return to this resort. Beautiful island!

This was my first time in St.Maarten and let me just say wow. I had an amazing time at Sonesta. Upon checking in you are given champagne and a cold towel. The bell man Omarian was very polite and took our bags upstairs. The drinks by the poolside bar Mickel made were delicious. The buffet was phenomenal with a vast variety of selections. And the pizza OMG! I would definitely be returning and bringing more family and friends to enjoy sonesta and st.Maarten.

Sonsesta Resort on Maho Beach Sint Maarten was wonderful. The resort and rooms were great. The staff were friendly and attentive with the right amount of activities to keep you entertained. The food on the resort was a 7/10 but the local restaurants were absolutely delicious .
