The Pros: Good location if you want to be near downtown PV. You can walk or taxi rides are cheap. The main areas are updated and nice. The pools were not too overcrowded, and you could walk to the local grocery store to buy extra water and snacks. Staff was helpful. The Cons: 1) The bedding in the room was old and gross. I called them to change and the next one was no better. The edges were frayed, the feathers were all clumped up in little balls, there was some stains. EWWW! @Marriott, buy some new bedding! 2) NOISE: Loud partying people coming back from PV! Lobby music loud, too! We stayed on the 2nd floor because wanted a balcony. The noise coming from the lobby is so loud through the halls that I couldn't sleep! Staff told me it wouldn't be shut off til 11pm. Do not stay near the lobby if you are a light sleeper, you have to stay waaaaay down the hall or higher floor. Or in the time-share cause that area is more quiet. 3) Time share sellers: Super aggressive, asked me every time I passed by. Hello! You just harassed me the last time I walked by. I don't want your free bag with coupons! Esp since I don't even like the hotel. 4) The beach - rocks! it hurts to walk barefoot. I think I saw some locals swimming there, but no one else. Sad cause I was in Mexico. Beach and water not beautiful like Cancun. The result: After 3 nights of no sleep, we checked out early and booked early flight home. Seen all PV has to offer and definitely never staying at Sheraton again.

We absolutely love this place. We have been going for years! The location is the best! The Resort staff is amazing! Pool activities with Jimena, Mariana, Rene and Evelyn to bar staff of Gabriel, Juan, Gama and Mariano. Most friendly, courteous and happiest around. Like family!

The hotel is very nice in many ways iy has a wonderful setting and is close to the facilities needed for the trip. The issues were around food the food from breakfast through to room service was just average and not at an acceptable standard. Staff were friendly and helpful. Its not the worst in Puerto Vallarta.

This hotel is so beautiful and staying here was such a wonderful experience. My stay was for 7 nights and had no issues. When you arrive people attempt to sell you things, but if you decline they dont keep pushing. The restaurant La Villita had some of the best service I've ever been provided anywhere. All the servers were attentive, kind, and so engaging. Shout out to Roberto and Enrique who provided a going away treat when they found out it was our last day. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Be sure to use the safe to be safe (you never know) but don't hesitate to drop by La Villita for some delicious food with some great company!

We’ve never stayed in an all inclusive resort before and didn’t know what to expect. This hotel, the staff and the experience as a whole didn’t disappoint! The food in the buffet and the a la carte restaurants were all fantastic, but the service is what made these places in the resort extra special! We would start every morning with the amazing and legendary Oliver, who would treat us like royalty. Oliver has worked at the Sheraton for 32 years and loves what he does. He spends time with everyone in his section, his genuine demeanour and loving nature makes your whole day! We would then spend the rest of our morning and afternoons by the beautiful pool. The water and pool area are very clean and the chairs and umbrellas are plentiful! The pool staff were all very attentive and happy to bring us whatever we needed during our time in this part of the resort. We loved watching the daily water aerobics, but on Tuesdays and Fridays, the entertainment staff were top notch and so fun to watch!! In the evenings we would make a point of visiting all of the a La Carte restaurants and the Il Pescatore was our absolute favourite! The young Uriel and Jesus were our waiters and were amazing, going out of their way to find my husbands favourite drink!! The Nine Ninety sports bar wasn’t part of the all inclusive package, but it was in our resort. We asked if they would put hockey on for us and they were more than happy to play the NHL Oilers playoff games for us! The hostess there was so fun and lively and always happy to see us arrive! We definitely needed this 7 day holiday, and we were both able to totally unwind and relax. It was the perfect way to spend 7 days, we highly recommend!!
