Librato and Adolfo, Renan are the best de bk makers and very cool and respectful to lines! If you find them ask for the DR no you want, mine was a margherita!

I would really like to visit this resort and have checked the reviews literally for years. I have never been as the constant theme is that the air con doesn't work throughout the resort. I did email to ask and got the reply that 'it feels hotter due to outside temp increasing' but if that was the case the Aircon would feel cooler hence I came here to ask. Are there any plans to change this in the future? It's been at least 5 years since mass complaints which is around the length of time I've been wanting to go but I cannot come if the air con doesn't work/is set too high.

Just got back from a week's vacation at Coba. Here are the good points and bad points: Good Points: The resort is beautiful. Really big, but their convenient trollies pick you up and drop you off everywhere. Very clean. Lots of options for pools ( 2 x swim up bars, 1 x activity pool, x kids pool, multiple hot tub pools throughout resort. Lots of shopping at the "Hucienda" area. Night time entertainment is great...check out the silent disco, for sure! Rooms were clean and spacious. A little outdated. Lots of wildlife around. Close to the road to jump on a collectivo to go to Tulum, Playa, etc. Buffet is great...lots to choose from. The al a cartes are nice but hard to get reservations too. Now...the bad. There are only 3 single plug outlets in the rooms, so bring power bars. Our fridge was warm and they never replenished it except water. There are A LOT of kids, so if that's not your thing, neither is this resort. The beach is a trollie drive away and really not worth the drive. The resort is HUGE, so get ready to walk ( and get lost at first ). The staff are somewhat nice, but not as nice as some smaller resorts where they get to know you better. Some of the al a cartes are buffet style, so you're basically serving yourself the same food you could get at the regular buffet. We really enjoyed our stay there, but next year, we are looking elsewhere.

This was our 3rd time at Coba, but definitely not the last. This resort is quickly becoming our favorite one on earth. Let me start by saying that the staff are sensational. The friendliest, hardest working, most professional group you'll ever find. The resort is immaculate and well maintained. The food is amazing. The entertainment is off the charts! We're already picking our dates to return next spring. We went for 9 days, which was perfect. The travel days didn't interfere with our week of relaxation. We did the excursion to the Tulum ruins again and had a great day. We weren't able to swim with the sea turtles because the waves were too high, but they took us snorkeling in a lagoon instead, which was wonderful. Swimming through the caves in the cenotes was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! We sat through the presentation on joining the Bahia Privilege Club, and although we opted not to join, Jesus and "Tony the Tiger" were so friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was fast and seamless. The only thing we didn't like was that we found the mattress on our bed was too hard. So we'll just bring a topper the next time we're there. I highly recommend this resort, and we'll absolutely be coming back!
