    The resort was very clean and any small isue was cleard up with in minutes! This is defently a do over. This has been the best resort we stayed at in the last 6 uears to the reagon! We always go with different resorts every year but this time we are thinkig of coming back again next year as long as the price is good.

    Good, not great resort. Love the fact that the resort is spread out and tucked in the jungle. Rooms were big and clean Food is iffy. Preferred the buffet for lunch. For dinner, the Brazillian restaurant would not bring the meat out med-med rare and brought out everything very well done. The seafood restaurant did not have any lobster, crab, shrimp, and only had fish for the main dishes. Ribs and More, the chicken and ribs were not good, but the steaks were cooked perfectly and had good flavor, only criticism is the steaks were very thin. Mexican, Italian, and Thai were all very good. Sports bar staff was amazing. Javier kept drinks full and even started bring out shots for us to try. Loved the lemon drop(tasted like a Sour Patch Kid). Had more issues with not being able to understand the staff this trip than i have had at ther resorts. Not sure if the staff aren't as good with English or if the masks created the issue. Room service was advertised as being included, but then they charge a $10 delivery fee per order. Also, had no snacks in the mini bar like I have been used to from other resorts. Worst part of the trip was as soon as we checked in after a days travel and just weanted to get to our room to rest and grab something to eat, we were grabbed by the travel club people and they tried to convince us to do a timeshare presentation the next morning. Started the trip off on a sour note. Was thinking of returning with our kids later this year, but not sure at this point.

    My husband and I spent 16 nights at this amazing hotel. Everything from the room decor to the food quality was above expectations. The staff were caring and respectful and we loved the snorkeling right off the beach.

    Great vacation, in spite of the COVID pandemic

    Although the Covid pandemic caused a reduction in amenities at this resort, the entire staff were fantastic. The staff should be commended on their constant cleaning of all surfaces and wearing their PPE. The staff truly made us feel safe, and their friendly and kind spirit made the difference in our vacation.

    So my bf surprised me on a trip to MX. Upon arrival our shuttle was not ready we had to wait at the airport for like a hour. Finally we get to the hotel to find out our room have been downgraded because of low capacity. We were moved to a Villa that had a musty smell and dusty. I honestly think the rooms have been sitting up due to COVID, however the maids should have cleaned our room upon arrival. Finally we make it to the buffet only to see a Python! Yes a big snake so please beware. Thank God it was real late when we arrived but I could only imagine what could have taken place in the daytime. So it was my birthday I did not get no Birthday set-up. My bf called several of times and they just kept saying they were short staffed. Like the last day i received some fruit and a bottle of wine I was not impressed at all. The staff was nice the hotel was beautiful but i think they could of done better. The food was not the best nothing tasted authentic. My experience was not the best but I made some good memories.
