My husband and I just recently visited this resort. We had an awesome time, beautiful resort and the staff was absolutely amazing. Our room was great, we had the swim out deluxe. If you are able to upgrade, I highly recommend you do so. The food was delicious, no complaints about anything. We probably ate a little too much but that is what vacations are for. The resort has plenty of activities to keep you entertained as well. Loved the pool areas too. There were a few staff members that also made our trip much more enjoyable. Diego Ali Canto Lozada, the head Bell Man was fabulous, we talked to him everyday and anytime we needed anything he was always happy to help, great customer service and we really enjoyed talking to him daily. Bryan Montealegre was another staff member who worked the am Yucatan buffet. We sat with him every morning, very friendly and attentive. Bendito was another server we sat with every evening, great service and also wonderful to talk to. All of the staff members were great but these three especially made our trip that much better and more memorable.

We found these in our hotel room. Was promised by Hector the manager we would compensate us with a bottle of wine. When we checked out he denied he ever said that. We were charged for the bottle of wine and was told we had to pay for it. Of course hector was “ not working “. If you would like to spend your trip with cockroaches then by all means stay here !

Amazing resort! We are sad to be home.

PROS: • The drinks are the best I have had in any all inclusive resort. Premium spirits are available for all guests, not just platinum guests. The cocktails are actual cocktails. There was so much variety. • Ice cream parlour and sports bar in the hotel next door are amazing. • All the wildlife is amazing, we saw loads of monkeys! • The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. Every single one of them were all so friendly. • We only went to the entertainment shows twice but wish we had gone to more because we really enjoyed them. Much better than other resorts we've been to. • The grounds and hotel was impeccably clean. • Our room was amazing, so spacious with double showers and a beautiful marble floor. It was so cool we had to turn our A/C off sometimes. • Room service was quick and they would call to make sure you'd received it and everything was ok which we thought was good. • Cleaners were amazing, our room was always spotless. • On a whole, the service in all restaurants was great and very fast. • We had some really good food in some of the al a cartes. Miso Teppanyaki and La Bruschetta were our favourites. The only one we were not keen on was Aroma because the service was not great and so our food was lukewarm. If it had been hot it probably would've been good. • There was so much choice at Yucatan buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All you can eat lobster on Thursday nights is amazing. • There are two separate pools for those who are here to party and those who are not. • The hotel is very LGBT friendly and we were very impressed by this. CONS: • A lot of people are complaining about the beach but the beach is not the problem. It's the sea. You have to walk quite far out through murky, green water that smells awful to find anything clear. It does smell on certain areas of the beach but there are areas that are fine. There was barely any seaweed on the beach as it was cleaned up by hotel staff regularly. • The pillows are quite firm. We requested softer ones but the same pillows are used throughout the hotel. • The food could be inconsistent at times. Sometimes service was a little slow in the a la cartes and food was lukewarm. • There were not many vegetarian options in any of the restaurants or at the beach bar but then again we didn't expect there to be. • The walls are too thin and at times you can hear people walking around and banging above you. There is a party element to this hotel so sometimes it was a little loud. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and were sad to leave. We would 100% recommend this hotel.

We spent a week and had a great time. The staff was excellent and Bryan in the buffet for breakfast and lunch was such a great guy. Wendy at the front desk also did anything to make your stay the best it could be. Food was great and lots of variety. We stayed in room 5031 and i t was quiet and not too hot. If anyone can complain about this place they need to get the swim out and just chill out. Will be back but 10 days next time.. Thanks everyone working there for making our vacation top notch.

Me and my partner stayed back in September and we had the most amazing holiday. The room was immaculate and exactly as seen on photos, friendly staff who were always smiling and happy to help, beautiful resort to walk around and the variety of evening restaurants was probably the highlight - fantastic food!! Whether you're there to relax peacefully or to drink by (or in) the pool listening to music, this holiday accommodates it all! A couple of helpful tips - for the gentleman make sure you have long trousers as all the evening restaurants (except the buffet) will not allow shorts, and when booking excursions do your research! A lot of the reps/stands at the hotel are very over-priced and biased to what they tell you. We still enjoyed our excursions but would definitely have been better planning them ourselves. Would like to say a massive thank you to our waiter Bryan, who served us every morning at breakfast. He was amazing, recognising us every time we were in and by the end of our holiday knew exactly what we would order and would always have it ready - a very personal touch that we really appreciated. Just to mention the seaweed, the smell does definitely hit you when you first arrive but by the next morning you're completely used to it! The seaweed on the beach looks bad and smells, but it certainly made no impact to our holiday and just a 5 minute walk up the beach there's plenty of clear areas which are lovely! Finally, my only slight disappointment would be the absence of corona or fruity ciders! The hotel did have a great selection of drinks but considering it's Mexico we were expecting there to be corona! Overall, an amazing resort with so much to keep you entertained yet with areas also perfect for relaxation (the spa is an added bonus, best massage I've had). Huge thank you to all the staff who work so hard, job well done!!
