We went for our honeymoon in January 2020, and we loved it! The resort is big so I'd recommend just walking around and exploring first. For example - we were there 3 days before we knew we could have breakfast at Veranda (away from the sometimes screaming kids in the buffet). if we hadn't met a couple in the lobby who told us about it we just wouldn't have known because we were too busy lounging by the pool to walk around! We stayed on The harmony side, at one of the rooms right next to the lobby which was super convenient. I believe it was room 206. The room was nice and always maintained, its not as fancy as the Serenity side but we were on a budget and also didn't mind not having the amenities that come with the serenity side. It was a little windy when we went in January so we didn't spend toooo much time on the beach (too much wind meant sand flying in our drinks) I wish we would have brought a reusable cup to fight that but regardless of wind - they have hammocks on the beach and a bar/snack area where you can get burgers, fish sandwiches etc. The hammocks on the water - OMG its a different feeling watching the sun as there's water flowing under your feet. We spent a lot of time on this side of the resort, the adult only pools on the harmony side are super nice with spots right on the beach to get some sun, but its also very quiet - a lot of people just reading books/napping while the pools on the splash side had the swim up bar, there would be music playing etc. You're also welcome to bring a speaker though which would have been convenient so i'd recommend that if you have a small one! There weren't toooo many people our age there (24+30), so don't expect spring break party vibes but it was still lots of fun especially with unlimited drinks! They have SOOO many drink options especially in the lobby. Food wise our favorite for breakfast was Veranda (adults only!!!) when we didn't feel like doing the buffet. Calabash and silk were the BEST for dinner! The buffet also had some staples that were there every day, but dinner and lunch they would always rotate some of the food options so you can never get bored! During our stay they also had a special dinner in Luna (a restaurant that costs extra) for freee for all the harmony guests as long as you RSVP'ed. We loved this and it was so nice of the resort to do - they really went above and beyond and dinner while hearing the waves crash and seeing the moon was amazing! The staff are all amazing as well, Philma our waitress at Calabash and Lamar at veranda/silk ,Stanza + Tracy who cleaned our room, and so many more who I wish I had written down the names of. All so sweet. We went on an excursion that not was NOT through the hotel, it was "Grasshopper tours". We met Jaid on the beach and were super skeptical but we met another family at the hotel so we decided why not! it was $50 per person i believe and we did the mud bath, saw a waterfall, and they took us to "sugar beach" and provided snorkel gear. They picked us up right in the lobby so it was super convenient. I would recommend getting a waterproof phone case or waterproof camera to take pics under water! The resort offers the same exact tour, and they are INSURED. It does cost more but having that peace of mind if god forbid something happened is nice too

This is probably overdue since we have been back from Coconut Bay for 2 weeks now. I am only giving a brief summary of my experience with this resort. Some will probably think I’m a snob on reviewing the place, but keep in mind that this is MY PERSONAL experience review! First day of arrival: surprisingly close to the main airport so that is a plus! Literally 10 minutes away! Upon entering the compound, my husband and I noticed how DATED this place is. You can see the sides and roof of the building some rust. The structure of the entrance building is so 70’s. Nothing to write home about. We were welcomed by a smiling server with a tropical drink but declined. We we’re use of being offered champagne and cool towel by other resorts we’ve been to, sorry…. So, we went to the reception/front desk to check in and was greeted by a tall receptionist who have a scowl on her face like she was annoyed and all. I went ahead and checked in our bags and was told that a bus boy will bring our luggage to our room. After my husband checked-in, we proceeded to go to walk to our room and lo and behold- the key card does not work! So, my husband has to go back downstairs and walk back to the front to have our key card fix. In the meantime, the bus boy came with our luggage and was able to open the door with his key and went followed him inside. He proceeded to tell me where this and that, etc. I open the fridge and found only couple bottles of water in it and ask him when are they going to stock it with juice, soda or bottle of wine? He said, I can ask the front desk for that but it will going to cost me extra fees for the drinks. I tried to tell the guy that we paid the whole “All-Inclusive” cost why it is still going to cost us extra?? He doesn’t have any answer and left after taking the tip money I gave him. What is also irritating is, we paid for a KING SIZE bed but instead they put us in a room with 2 Full size bed. They are not even Queen size! When my husband called the front desk to complain they immediately brush up off by saying they do not have any available King size bed anymore for the duration of our stay of 5 days. We have no choice but to accept it since we already paid for this vacation. Restaurant Reservation: A JOKE! You can forgot about getting to eat in their ala carte restaurants until you are there for 2 days already! If you are planning to come here, call ahead and make your reservation a day before you arrive or else you will eat at the buffet all the time! Buffet Restaurant: It’s not that bad,Nothing special about this place. Greatly missing lots of fresh fruits. I can tell the fruits they put out except the cantaloupe and watermelon are from a can. If you are like me expecting some fresh tropical fruits, you will not find it here. Also, service is super slow. If you ask for coffee, might as well tell them to bring you a carafe or else you will not get a second cup again if you want to. Entertainment: They do the best to give you one every night. The workers are really trying hard but they could learn a thing or two from Mexico or Punta Cana on putting a good entertainment for the guests. Excursion: It is not available at all times. Yes, they do offer it but if you decided to go on a certain days, they will put you on waiting list to see if someone else are interested. The minimum is 3 couples or at least 6 people before they will book an excursion for you. So, my husband and I were unfortunate not able to explore Saint Lucia during our stay. Very disappointing. Drinks/Alcohol: I give them that, they do have top shelf if you asked for it. You can drink all the cocktails you want! Although at one time I watched one of the bartenders at the front desk bar blew his nose on a napkin holding it with his bare hand and put it on top of the ice chest and without washing his hands proceeded to make a drink for another guest and reach out to get ice and hand it over to the guest. Needless to say, I told my husband that we should leave and did not touch our drinks for the night. A few of what we enjoyed on this resort: The Jerk House: I ate my lunch here everyday. The most delicious grilled food! The water slide and lazy river pool: My husband and I enjoyed the nice cool water. Pools: there are enough chairs and adequate umbrellas. At least no one is grabbing chairs at 5AM in the morning like other resorts we have been. Drinks: They can make whatever cocktails you want! Long beach: I enjoyed my daily walk on the beach, but Atlantic Ocean is not my type so did not even wade on the beach. I was mistaken on choosing the wrong side of the island to stay in, completely my fault! Anyway, it was quiet an experience. But I know for sure it is not a place for us. We will not come back.

We stopped at this beautiful island on a cruise in Dec 2018. We loved it so much we chose to fly in and stay awhile. We stayed for 9 days and loved every second. Aaron got us some drinks and got us checked in. Kerry and Sherma (lobby bar) kept us in drinks and had great personalities. We would leave the lazy river (where we spent most our time) and get our drinks from their bar because we liked them the best. Pearl took great care of our room. Ted was a great host! He anticipated when we needed drinks. Natly made sure we had fun and stayed safe while we enjoyed the water slides. It was awesome to be in the lazy river and hear the birds sing and see all the flower bushes. It made you feel like you were in your own world. Totally relaxing. The views from our room was beautiful. The country night they did was so fun! I would definitely return as well as recommend this establishment.

Overall coconut bay is the place to stay. The service throughout the whole resort is excellent and everyone on the staff is so helpful. The staff members make you feel like family and are super kind to everyone. The room was great. Everyday the room was cleaned, new towels were left, the water fridge was filled for us. The location is great. It is secluded from the busy road and has a gate to be let into the resort. There is a beach that is not connected to the public beaches leaving it a private beach for just the members staying at the resort. There is a splash side which has children and families and then a harmony side that is only 18 years and older. The separation of sides leaves the resort peaceful for those people who are on a couples getaway. Each side has different pools and areas to lounge outside, along with different bars to get drinks. There are more than 4 restaurants alone on the resort available to everyone as well as a grill station and a buffet, meaning you will not go hungry here. There is also a water slide and a lazy river to relax and have fun in. The entertainment staff (especially Gillie) does a great job getting people involved in activities all around the resort. Making the vacation one you will never forget. *also my friends, family, and I went during this difficult time with the COVID-19 occurring and the resort staff did an excellent job keeping every surface and area clean constantly going around with cleaning supplies and disinfecting the surfaces*
