great location!! in front of paseo herencia (lots of shops and restaurants) and if you keep going across to the other side the plaza mall is there -- more shops and the pretty I <3 ARUBA !! definitely dedicated a night to see/walk all of it . I didnt go for the shopping -- mostly people watching and to eat ice cream and grab a beer (balashi or balashi chill is the aruban beer) the actual hotel is very pretty but my room was a bit rundown. spacious enough for 3 people. meets basics needs. staff is VERY NICE! and very accommodating!! there was in error in billing -- promptly corrected.

Our fifth time to this resort. This is the best kept value secret in Palm Beach. Kevin Anderson and his staff have done a tremendous job of keeping this gem the best value on Palm Beach. This is a family resort. The rooms are clean and perfect. Friendly advice: it’s a room to sleep in and bathe. Your there for the sun and beach. The customer service and guest relations is second to none. The very best. There are several employees that made our stay incredibly relaxing..... too many to type. The food is great. The staff is the reason why we choose this resort annually, as this is the only Holiday Inn my family has ever stayed at. Thank you to the staff at the Holiday Inn Aruba..... professional and respectful - truly dedicated to customer satisfaction & service. Our stay over Easter week at the Resort was extremely busy, however anytime there was a question or a request - a staff member always had an answer and was willing to go above and beyond their call of service to make sure everything on our stay was perfect. Impressive so much- we are returning in 3 months for another week of relaxation. Kudos to the entire staff. Hard work goes noticed. 7123 7125 7127

My husband bought me a sun pendant here last year. After only 2 months the stone fell out. I brought it back to see if they would fix or exchange it and flat out told No. Very mad that $50 was wasted and now I can't wear this necklace. Dont shop there. The lady told me it was worn out. What a joke. Such BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. Come to Aruba every year.

Long review, but worth the read if it’s your first time!

? First of all, the holiday inn was not the worst hotel we ever stayed in but we were underwhelmed. Everything is very outdated compared to other hotels. But we barely spent time in our room so it wasn’t the end of the world. Other than that the service is excellent and the beach/pool is clean. Huge negative was there was only 1 elevator in our tower the entire 8 days we were there. Looking at reviews it’s been that way for over a month. Busy hours you had to wait for a while & then ended up cramped next to other sweaty people. Location is excellent! The outdoor mall is directly across the street with plenty of bars, restaurants & shopping. The restaurants at the hotel are terrible. We spent less money eating out every night than we would have spent on bad all inclusive food. ? We rented a car for the week - $300 with insurance. Taxis were like $40 each way so this saved a lot of money! ? We rented a palapa each day. Worth it! It gets so hot and there’s barely shade. ? We brought water bottle with us everywhere, everyday! ? Download a map of Aruba through google maps app. I had my phone on airplane the entire time but google maps worked. ? I packed soo much and barely wore anything lol. Bathing suit & cover ups the entire day and dresses at night. People dress mostly casual. ? Bring an inflatable pool float! The water is so calm and we laid on it in the ocean the entire time. Then we gave it away to someone when we left. They were like $60 at the stores there. ? We went to the supermarket (super foods) and got case of water, beer/liquor, mixers, snacks & cereal/milk. Bring a yeti for mixed drinks & water bottle. Or bring a small cooler tote a lot of people had them for their beer. People with all inclusive still brought yetis and had bartenders fill them. ? We did a 4 hour UTV tour with Forforti(?) Tours - through our hotel. AMAZING! We chose the one that goes to the natural pool. (Bring water shoes - I cut my foot open! Wear your bathing suit, bring a towel, goggles, sunglasses & don’t wear white) ? Go to baby beach. It’s far away but worth the drive. Absolutely beautiful. The bar there has an Infinity pool. Bring drinks & food with you. ? Get to the airport 3 hours early on your way home. Seriously. It took an hour and a half to get through Aruba & US customs even with not many people there. ? Check your bills! Most come with a service charge already on it. We were told to try to only use credit card everywhere so you can argue any wrong charges. We barely used cash only for a few things. ? We really only ate breakfast & dinner because we were barely hungry for lunch. Each night dinner ranged from $100-$170 (including tip) depending on what you get but everything’s expensive. However we spent less than we would have paid for all inclusive. ? Below are the places we ate. I don’t like seafood but my boyfriend does and he enjoyed almost everything we had. ? Reservations are recommended and you can do all of them online on their websites. I chose 6pm for every night so we can watch the sunset which for us was at 635. RESERVATIONS: Tuesday None Smokey Joes - ribs are good EXCEPT dry rub (disgusting) sides sucked Wednesday Flying Fishbone @6PM 30 min driving View is amazing. Didn’t get to sit in the water because of high tide. But that’s okay because table in front Of us had crabs biting her feet lol. French onion soup was delicious. Unicorn fish was great, teriyaki was okay. Tiramasui was so/so. Paying more for atmosphere. Thursday Madame Janette @6PM 9 min driving Good food, huge portions. Had the Almond crusted grouper special & pork schnitzel. Friday El Gaucho @ 630PM 17 min driving Boyfriends favorite. Delicious Saturday Faro Blanco @ 6PM In your reservation notes ask for the lower banister closest to the railing. Beautiful view watching the sunset. Paying for the atmosphere again. Pasta was disgusting barely ate it. Shrimp was great. Sunday Screaming Eagle @ 7PM 10 min driving Delicious, my favorite! We were told to make reservations to eat in a bed. It was a fun experience, very great service & intimate. Pork belly appetizer melted in your mouth. We had Chicken breast and bacon wrapped grouper. Flan and 3 layer mousse for dessert. Everything was amazing! Monday Chalet Suisse @ 6PM 8 min driving Ended up not going and had dinner at the hotel (da Vinci) Because we gave our car back & just wanted to be somewhere close. The hostess had the worst attitude and really the only miserable person we encountered our whole trip. The food was disgusting, don’t bother. Breakfast: ? Dutch pancake house = delicious! Must go. First time had breakfast sampler, second time had a Nutella & Strawberry pancake and a Milano (salami cheese onions peppers) ? Holiday day inn buffet =not the worst, good in a pinch. Conveniently next to the pool. Lunch: ? Pool bar chorizo salad & steak sandwich both great.

My family and I ( wife, boy 16, girl 12) stayed from August 5th to the 14th and the hotel was fabulous! All of the employees/Staff were very friendly and courteous. I have always found that when writing reviews you should always put in helpful hints so people in the same situation can better understand the choices they make. First, we had four in our room and I am a big guy. So, we order the two beds in a room with a pull out sofa and rented a cot. It worked out perfect. The do not have rooms with 2 King/Queen beds. This is the solution and I believe it will work out for you. The room is a little tight but I was only in there to shower and sleep. The food is fantastic! Not one bad meal. I have been to all-inclusives in Mexico, Antigua, Bahama's and this was the best food served! by far. The weather s constantly perfect and the beach is beautiful. Very calm ocean which makes it very relaxing.
