low level room - not a nice vibe

We thought the view would be bette. the room and bathroom were mediocre at best. there was nothcing special about the bathtub or the shower. The tv in the room was also sort of weak given the price

Perfect for close stay

States close to resort due to distance from other hotels. Staff was fantastic and helpful. Wave pool was great.

Improvements are coming!

As loyal Mandalay Bay guests - 3 times a year for over a decade, we are SO SO happy to see some improvements being made to the hotel including new restaurants (desperately needed) including, Caramà and Orla. We tried both of these and they are amazing! Great menus, service, and food was delicious. It was definitely time For Mandalay to bring up their food game up a bit and these changes are very welcome! The Cabanas have also starting to get a few small improvements like new in-cabana furniture - new L-shaped couches that are MUCH more comfortable, and new table and chair set that is much more modern. Even though I think some of it is hand-me-downs from other resorts, it is still a nice thing to see for us. The cabana staff have always treated us so well and that didn’t change. They made us feel like we were at home, as they usually do! All of the little improvements have made us even happier to come to the Mandalay and watch it grow and improve. We cannot wait until our next trip to see what else there is in store!

Extremely disappointed

Where do I begin!!! It seems the staff does not like their jobs and it shows. Room was disappointing, I was placed on an accessible room and the front desk attendant told me I had booked the accessible room myself which was not true. After realizing I was right he made no effort to apologize for insisting that the mistake was mine. Really bad attitude specially for hospitality workers, it looks like he was doing me a favor. I work for Marriott International headquarters in Bethesda and was in Vegas for the HD expo and I was so disappointed with my overall experience. Bath towels were like sand paper, someone was saving on fabric softener for sure. I was there for three days and my room NEVER got cleaned despite the fact I called the front desk requesting service. For what they charge for the room is really not worth it
