We just returned from a 14 day stay at the Maya Palace and can't say enough about this property. The room was well appointed; comfy bed, spacious, nice and clean with loads of space. The property itself is beautiful and so well maintained. The beach is probably one of the nicest in the Puerto Aventura area with a beautiful stretch of sandy white beach, great swim area and even some decent snorkeling. We saw sting ray, sea turtle, and plenty of fishes. There is an adult only pool tucked away behind the main pool between the buildings. The bar wasn't open but it was a great get away if you're looking for peace & quiet away from the crowd. The resort dolphinarium is home to rehabilitated wild dolphins, many with vision problems that would have made living in the wild impossible. They are well cared for by the trainer Juan "Cali" and are the most loving creatures - if you get a chance to spend time with them you won't regret it. Minchu was my favorite and I could have given him hugs all day long. All the servers in the bars and restaurants are amazing and go out of their way to make you happy. The staff also take great care to maintain Covid-19 protocols and I felt safe with the staff. Other guests however were often very disrespectful of the guidelines - not wearing masks when requested by the resort, or disregarding closed seating areas meant to ensure social distancing which was frustrating to see. Please do your part to protect yourselves and the staff at the resort.

We live in Cancun and have visited many hotels. This hotel was the worst! Terrible and disgusting service and communication with guests. If you want to ruin your weekend or vacation, you can go to this hotel. We have booked and paid for this hotel chernz booking.com and provided the reception with confirmation of payment and reserve. We were denied registration and told that you did not pay us but booking.com, you must once again opshatit us. They got a call from the Manager from booking.com but they refused to register us. We were with two children and we were forced to spend 4 hours in the lobby, none of the staff helped and talked in a rude way. As a result, we were not checked into the hotel despite the fact that we fully paid for everything. The most amazing time and experience of communication was in this hotel. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! The supervisor refused to fill us in and accept reservations from booking.com and constantly running away from us. Terrible staff especially supervisor Alan Medina and Angel Lopes from reception.

A treat to be back at the Carey Bar at the Palace - wonderful view and great service. It was a long bumpy trip from Cozumel, rough seas and high winds. A shout out to Angelica Acosta for a perfect margarita!

Great first night at our favorite Mexican resort. We had no reservations for the first night for diner. So we took a chance at our favorite restaurant, the French restaurant. The restaurant is called Brasserie. The manager Cesar Tellez was wonderful and let us in to eat. He checked on us throughout the night to make sure everything was great. Our sever was Nelson Yuceli. He was amazing. Took care of us like kings. We enjoyed all the food and service. It was a great start of our family vacation. Thank you to all the staff.
