My husband and I came to the Grand Parasio to celebrate our 40th birthdays and 20th wedding anniversary and this resort has ruined me as a traveler! How can I possibly go on a vacation again without a my butler drawing me a bath on my outdoor, beach front Jacuzzi every evening? When I get back to my hotel room and there's not wine or champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for me, what am I going to do? When my husband and I get back from a romantic dinner and there's not a trail of roses leading to our bed, how will we find it in our giant suite? Seriously though this was far and above the BEST vacation we've ever been on. We never left the resort compound and why would we; there's 2 spas, too many pools to count, endless activities, SO many restaurants, a shopping center, their own 24hr medical clinic and so much more! We could have easily stayed for a week or more and still not do everything there is to do. The staff were attentive, kind, helpful, and so happy to celebrate our special event with us. The food was AMAZING!!! The spa was magical! The beach was beautiful and quiet. The entire experiences was one that we'll never forget! We had such a great time that we convinced my in-laws to celebrate their 50th anniversary there and they're bringing all of us with them!! We'll all be back in March 2025 and I can't wait!!

The grand is really that, GRAND! Had a great time. I have stayed at the excellence Cancun and both are very good, but the staff here has been absolutely amazing! The drinks, the entertainment, and the foooood!!! Christopher, Luis has served treated us extremely well with the entertainment group. Leticia Gordillo treated us soooo good that we never even asked for anything!.

This will be a bit long but helpful. Our trip to the Grand Parisio was wonderful! If I could rate it over 5 stars I would! Let me start with our butlers, these gentlemen do everything in their power to make your stay magical! Setting up dinner reservations, keeping your room stocked, giving you personal rides throughout the complex, greeting you (by name) and making you feel part of their family, help celebrating special moments and just chatting with you and getting to know you. We stayed in bldg 70, and our team of butlers were amazing. If something was wrong, they corrected it in a heartbeat! Shout out to Miguel, Manuel, Alberto, Daniel and Alexander….from the bottom of hearts thank you for making us feel special everyday! Miguel was our go to guy, always checking in on us and our stay…always willing to help, always making us feel like family. Thank you, we feel so honored to have met you! There are a couple more wonderful people that we met, that made our trip even more enjoyable. Thank you to the two Leticia‘s at the pool…always making sure our drinks were full and coming over just to say hi! Hugo for making our cabana even more comfortable, and the bartenders at the swim up bar…they all know my husband as Mr Tecate Light. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, the food was over the top, we even dined on fresh burgers, poolside, grilled right in front of us, and they were delicious. Every restaurant we ate in the food was top-notch and the service even better. From the moment we stepped foot at the Iberostar, our trip was amazing…. Welcome drinks and wonderful people. You’re always greeted with a smile. If you’re even thinking about staying here, we highly suggest you do it!

This is a long and detailed review of the Iberostar Grand Paraiso in Riviera Maya, south of Cancun Mexico. My company brought a large group to the Iberostar, and I will provide info from the perspective of an individual as well as a large group leader. The Iberostar knocked it out of the park! It was an incredible experience. The grounds are immaculately cared for. I was continually impressed with how well they take care of the property. It’s true that there were workers all over the place, updating, repairing, manicuring and more, all day. This provides an additional level of enjoyment when the resort has this overall FEEL of top level elegance. This is not a party resort. Period. Now, there was a LOT of fun - at the main pool during the day, and in the lobby or Rhapsody bar in the evening – but this isn’t a resort for a lot of drunken revelry. If that’s your thing, find somewhere else as you will be disappointed. That's not to say that the alcohol doesn't flow! But the resort has a feel of higher level style which we loved. The food was incredibly good. They have 5 different restaurants, all of which were quite impressive. I had filet mignon 4 nights in a row at 3 different restaurants, lol! And it was GREAT each night. We liked Toni’s seafood and steakhouse the best, with our waiter Luis taking care of us more than once- he was terrific. There is a dress code for most of the dinner restaurants, so bring something a little nicer. We also experienced a wonderful evening at the Italian restaurant, where Eosebio waited on us. He was one of the best – with great suggestions, terrific service and always with a smile. The buffet was also outstanding. It’s one of the best resort buffets we’ve experienced. By the end of our time, Josue, our egg maker guy, knew exactly what we liked and was ready to serve us with a smile and eggs cooked perfectly. Thank you, Josue and great job Iberostar. The food experience was simply terrific! The service is top-notch. From the servers at the buffet, to the evening nicer restaurants. From the entertainment staff to the concierge and butler team. From the bartenders to the cleaning staff, there is a culture on the resort of greeting you with a SMILE, and discovering if they can do anything to help. You can’t underestimate how wonderful this is, and it’s clear that this creates a positive experience for all visitors. Personally, we stayed in one of the ocean view suites, and a butler service comes with that upgrade. We had the distinct pleasure of working with Christian, Tania, and Luis – all three went above and beyond what I would consider normal duties. They helped with making dinner reservations, cleaning a spill in the room of my own doing, and communicating with us to make sure we are satisfied. They were outstanding. All the suites in the resort are exactly the same, with the only difference being the view out of your balcony or deck. The suites are VERY nice – 2 sinks, soaker tub, rainfall shower, comfortable bed, table and chairs, sofa and hanging rocker chair on the balcony, etc. We never once turned on the tv - the view out the balcony was way better! My wife and I work out regularly and we went to the fitness center called Fit N Fun. We’ve been all over the Caribbean and this is probably the best resort fitness center we’ve ever experienced. It has anything you would expect at your personal fitness center, but it has a 2nd floor where they offered many different types of classes. We took advantage of kickboxing classes, along with “boot camp” workouts, but there were much more like yoga, spin, etc. Sergio was one of the fitness instructors who was AWESOME. He was tough, but so encouraging and positive. We looked forward to starting our day with a workout – in no small part to ease the guilt of 2 desserts and a couple cocktails at dinner! We took advantage of both the beach and pool. The beach is not the best we’ve seen. There are large rocks which complicated entering the water at some spots – you had to find openings to go out deeper into the water, but it really wasn’t that hard. The beach is quite pretty, but again, we’ve experienced better. The main pool is very large and picturesque, with an infinity view of the ocean in the background. We spent more time at the pool, and enjoyed some of the activities that were offered, like pool volleyball, crazy games, etc. The entertainment staff was first rate, especially Luis and VD. My wife loves to dance and Luis danced with her at the Rhapsody lounge after the Latin show one evening, and it was fantastic, as he taught her some new dance moves. VD was so encouraging and positive, and is so good at her job, creating an atmosphere of fun. We loved them both. We also enjoyed the spa. They have a very nice spa on the Grand, as well as in the mall area that serves all 5 Iberostar resorts on this property. We worked closely with Malu to set up appointments for ourselves as well as other members of our group. She was extremely responsive and helpful, quick to reply to questions, make adjustments and so much more. She was great, and so was our spa experience! This was a company sales incentive trip and we brought 165 people. Bottom line is I would highly recommend this as a group destination, whether it be for a company or a wedding. The resort provides a group events coordinator for larger groups and we had the privilege of working with Maximiliano Hernandez. He was incredibly patient with the (literally) hundreds of questions and multiple meeting requests that I had during the months leading up to the trip. He was physically present at the two large group gatherings we had, just to make sure we were completely taken care of. I can’t say enough about the customer service provided by Max. He is one of the main reasons that this turned out to be such a successful and positive trip. We had a cocktail reception one night, and an awards banquet another night. The way they prepared, decorated and served our group was nothing short of astonishing – how great they did. Way beyond my expectations – Of special note were our food and beverage managers Juaquin and Adrian. A huge THANK YOU to both, as you made ME look good to my company! If I could list the things I liked best about the resort, I would start with the culture of welcome and service by an amazing staff. Followed closely by the resort itself including the grounds, the pool, beach, etc. Next would be the food. The one thing that was disappointing was during our awards banquet, the 3rd party vendor that handles audio/visual only brought one big speaker and it was hard for much of our group to understand what was being said. Anyone visiting in either a larger group or just 1 or 2, will NOT be disappointed. This place is amazing.
