Edgar is absolutely amazing! He is the best concierge making and remembering conversations to make you feel extra special. He is very attentive and makes recommendations based on your needs. Best service!

Have been coming here for years- always the hotel side, not AI. Last visit in 2022 felt very tired and did not plan to return. What a wonderful surprise! New restaurant about to open- looks fantastic! But best part was totally revamped entertainment. Amazing high energy named Renee who is just a treasure. Huge positive energy, entire resort showing up for water aerobics (which used to be a nursing home experience to be avoided), as well as a daily 1 pm alcohol tasting session which is so fun. Staff always polite and attentive, grounds always immaculate with the most mature and beautiful gardens- the garden team is amazing. Life does not get better than the Sunday mariachi brunch. Parked myself there from 11 am until after 2 and loved every minute. Can’t wait to come back. Renee for president! Thanks so much!

Recently I returned to this hotel with my girlfriends. We love it because it has such a good vibe, the staff are so friendly compared to most other hotels. We love the rooms, the gorgeous views, the buffet breakfast out on the terrace (note the bird of prey used to keep away littler birds) and the pools each have a swim up bar. From Andres at the front desk to Vidal and Jonathan in the Trattorio to the lovely Iris and Pamela greeting you at the buffet each morning (and Silvestro gallantly taking your hand as you come and go) the people make this feel like a home away from home. Don’t miss the hydrotherapy circuit.

We enjoyed the all-inclusive for drinks poolside. Several days we also had food. The club sandwich with fries is very good. The resort is within walking distance to the Malecon and Old Town area. Also, our seating hostess, Pamela and servers, Oliver and Ringo treated us well and appreciated our visit. This visit we stayed at the hotel. While the room was nicer than on the timeshare side, the service at the hotel is not yet up to Marriott's standards. We had an accounting error that was treated harshly, although it was the front desk's mistake. But as we were able to use the timeshare side pool with our friends staying there, it worked for us.
