    Good hotel currently under construction

    No breakfast or other perks of being a Platinum Elite member. Given COVID, My review has nothing to do with that. The hotel was half updated and half outdated. They were doing heavy construction and the night I checked in, the key card program wasn't working so I had to be escorted to my room by security who opened it up. The room itself is beautiful and lots of money was spent to revamp the rooms for a nice, spacious decorous room with a fantastic view of NYC/Hudson River. In the future, a breakfast credit at the Starbucks in the building would have been nice for Platinum members or to-go bags. Once they finish construction, I'm sure it will be a more pleasant stay for others.

    Stayed here over the weekend, the king room, harbor view is nice. No breakfast/gym due to pandemic. Regardless of your elite status, they don't make up for those things not even water. You just basically get a room for the price you pay. I can't help but compare the hotel to Holoday Inn that offers goodie breakfast bag every morning instead of breakfast buffet. The hotel is situated in nice area walkable to many good restaurants and shops. Also, the entrance revolving door is not working. And the door is not automatic so you have to pull or push the doors to enter the property.

    Very difficult to reach the hotel. When we arrived, we should our Credit cared and copy of ID but despite it being late, they refused to allow us in despite confirmation and credit card. It was very unhelpful and inflexible and they wouldn’t even give us any refunds. Very unpleasant experience. This is the only bad review I give any place. Wouldn’t recommend it.

    The worse service in my life! I travel a lot for work and it’s not my first Marriott hotel. I had issues before, but at least managers of previous locations would gladly solve any problems. Well... in this case manager propose me and my boyfriend one free night. We moved 4 times to different rooms. Each room had multiple issues. Starting from enormous size cockroaches in two rooms running around my clothes and furniture. Moving to rooms with dirty floors with footprints and food crumbles. On top of that 3 rooms smelled like mold because of air conditioning leaks and wet carpets. I was very nice the first two night and ask very politely to switch our room. During our 3rd I just had to pack in the middle of night and move to the different room that also had issues! The best part is that manager told us that this hotel just reopened and this is their excuse for all problems. Oh and here is a picture of our roommate,who showed up next to our bed in the middle of the night! The size of our buddy is about 2 quarters

    This hotel provides everything a good hotel should. The standards I keep Marriott to is pretty high considering I travel to many other Marriott properties this hotel is no exception my one bedroom view displayed the world trade center, as this may be one side of the building this was an extra for me as I love traveling back to New York. There is no pool however this should not turn you away from staying here. The in hotel restaurant at the back is good with a good selection of choices and variety. I did not get to try the Bar/restaurant however I would expect this to keep to the Marriott standards as well. I would definitely recommend to stay here in attendance either for leisure or Business travel this hotel provides a fair and centrally located stay with a short walk to the amazon prime store or the 9/11 museum this hotel is a sensible choice for anyone traveling to New York
