This hotel is first class all the way. Room, food, staff, were all excellent. We had no complaints about anything and will definitely be back. Chic Is a must see as the quality of the show rivals Vegas.

I'm only going to focus on some of the little niggles and they were little apart from the room Check-in - little wait of around 10 minutes with a welcome drink - we didn't get the same as most people no refreshing towel offered and didn't get our requested Jacuzzi room which was a must. We changed rooms next day but that was our first day messed around with! Room - original room was no good as OH couldn't fit in the bath or under the shower - he's very tall. Requested a change at check in, told to check back the next day. The butler also reported our need when he saw OH couldn't fit under the shower. We didn't get our wishlist set up - my drink arrived later that night, OH didn't arrive until a couple of days later. Otherwise room was good, bed comfy but didn't like the open wardrobe, the sinks and the mirror glass.  Room location was terrible 7112 but beggars can't be choosers noisy & no privacy due to being next to the bridge. Butlers aka concierge service - pretty much a waste of time - never there & told us wrong location of a restaurant so went to wrong place. Food - on the whole very good - somethings could do with a bit more depth of flavour (French onion soup) TRS restaurants leaps and bounds above the wider resort although the Japanese sushi was lovely. Pools - really nice but a tad chilly but once in its lovely. Beach/TRS area - meh only went down twice in two weeks. Needs major improvements - to far back from watersedge  - I want to see the sea. Drinks - really couldn't complain plenty of options and let's face it if you don't like it order another one. Consistency could be better around the bars plus cleanliness with flies. Need to put the juice bottles under better cover - declined a drink after the barman scooped a bug out of one and went to use it. Entertainment - needs more adult only at TRS. The shows are samey you have to go to bambino Ville. CHIC - ok but wouldn't pay the reservation fee - if it's supposed to be a perk of staying at TRS then no reservation fee should be charged - make it refundable if you show. Food not all to taste but some very nice. If we were to go back again we wouldn't go again. Although might be a little clouded as they cancelled on us the day before (Was booked a month before as it was our anniversary also nothing acknowledged unlike others have experienced) then missed the white party because of rebooked night. Checkout - quick, efficient but no flower :-( This might sound a little negative but it's really not - I would go back again but some improvements do need to be made.  They also need to stop cutting the perks no Bombay sapphire in rooms anymore, lobster (can only have that in Helios or you get charged) paying chic which is now $35 reservation fee - you don't get this back! So it is getting less attractive when there are other comparable hotels for not much more.  Its only the 2nd holiday hotel I've said this about (sadly one is in Egypt but not going back there ever again) - there were more positives than negatives so if things improve and they stop cost cutting the perks so the extra cost is justifiable then we'd return.

    A wonderful stay!

We have visited this hotel in October 2018 and not in October 2019. The TRS is the best part of this enormous complex and the most luxurious too. Our room was spacious, there was a whirlpool at the balcony and some other rooms offered small private pools which on the other hand weren't as private as the customers would have probably wish them to be. The beach is a few hundreds of meters away. Beautiful crystal waters, fine white sand, palm trees. A paradise. As a TRS customer you are getting only the best of food, drinks and animation. The Cabaret night was very nice and was offered to us as a gift which was accepted with pleasure on my wife's birthday. The food in the Cabaret was of poor quality although the presentation of the almost microscopic portions was interesting. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay and we would like to thank our butlers who have been extremely friendly and helpful.

After reading a lot of reviews on hotels in Riviera Maya, we decided to try out TRS. I knew we wanted an adults only resort that was all inclusive and we were looking for a 5-star experience. TRS absolutely did not disappoint! After checking in, my husband and I each got our TRS hat (my husband stole mine and still wears them almost every day almost 7 months later). We ate at the steakhouse our first night - my husband and brother-in-law both got the ribeye steaks and I swear it's the best steak I've ever had in my whole life. I got the grilled chicken and veggies and never has a piece of chicken tasted so good! We ate at Helios every morning for breakfast We had such wonderful staff experiences here, even during lunch - Santiago, Antonio, and especially Enrique! By our 2nd visit, he would come out with our drinks before even talking with us. I was so impressed. He also made us the best parting dessert on our last day there. I also have to give a big shout out to our butlers - Pablo and Angel. They took care of all of our questions and needs and even gave us a wonderful surprise with a birthday decoration one night. At the infinity pool, Jonathan kept the drinks coming! We barely wondered away from the TRS side - it had everything we wanted. We travel quite a bit and it's always sad when you have to come home, but leaving TRS has been by far the hardest for me. I think I was seriously in a depression for the first 2 months of coming home. I hope everything starts to work itself out so we can get back to TRS sooner rather than later. We have a point of not returning to the same hotel twice, but this is the exception and I hope to be back over and over again!

We have stayed at TRS 3 times now and every time they have gone DOWNHILL… Now they don’t serve lobster at every restaurant (I know poor me), but our 1st favorite down there Iberostar Grand Hotel still does… If you are looking to book a 5 star resort look at Iberostar because TRS has given up on customer service… P.S. You can STILL book a stay on every travel site plus theirs for the coming months - BUT - they are not open! FRAUDULENT!!! AVOID... We will NOT be doing a 4th visit...
