Great bar service from Osvaldo at the bar next to Mexican restaurant - he was really friendly & did the best drinks! Osvaldo was very professional and made recommendations on drinks which was great! This bar was a much nicer & calmer vibe compared to the lobby.

Swim up bar area was pretty cool kids were around but not so close parents do keep their kids close and respectful to the area but you know kids don’t listen .. customer service is wonderful Jhodelmi Diaz ,Alley Gullien has great customer service,friendly and very attentive ask Allriey to make the fresh banana drink it was sooooo goodt !

The Melia caribe is an alright resort, rooms were clean but the mini bar got stock once on a week long stay, food was good but if you want steaks,seafood or sushi its an extra 70$US even if you have the level upgrade. One great thing was our concierge Alam. Hes always came trough for us and just a great guy all around. Still a pretty good trip!

Be careful with the bills (you have to sign them and check them). After staying at this establishment for a week. The experience ended in an unfortunate way. They charged us for a bottle of wine that we did not consume, with a $25 surcharge (we did not sign any note) and when we complained, they did not attend us, in short, indirectly called us liars after forging a note and scamming us. On the other hand, the rest is a "bittersweet" experience. On the one hand, the rooms are far from what is expected in a 5* hotel. As for the service, it has excellent professionals and others, who should dedicate themselves to something else. It is unheard of that in a hotel complex (there are three united belonging to the same chain) you cannot use the bar/disco at the Meliá Punta Cana, adjacent to the hotel (and closer to the rooms we were assigned) we were not allowed to enter.

Had a wonderful time at the Melia hotel. So many things to do not enough time. Employees so friendly, hard working, and inviting. Our trip was filled with good drinks, yummy food, and daily activities. Definitely recommend!!!
