LOVED the room - the service though wasn't the best

Stardust86 (Belleville, Michigan) on Mar 12, 2026

Recently visited with my 6-year old. I wanted to splurge and stay somewhere in the heart of it all that felt indulgent. The pictures online of the falls-view rooms, and the infinity pool hooked us. We LOVED the room. We had a king fallsview room (3252 north tower). It was ready earlier than online check-in stated, which was awesome - the view was AMAZING. We were able to watch the falls fireworks right from our bed. My 6-year old was crazy about the spa jets in the tub. Bed was comfy, noise wasn't much of an issue, room was clean. The infinity pool was really neat, but very crowded. On the other hand - the kids pool was completely empty - so we surprisingly actually spent more time over on that side. Though we did get the obligatory pictures in the infinity pool, of course. And it totally was worth checking out - being able to look over the falls from your pool is a cool experience by itself. We really enjoyed the walkway that connects the hotel to the big casino. I wasn't doing any gambling on this family trip - but the spa within the Hilton doesn't allow little ones - so we walked over to the Damara Spa in the big casino, and got ourselves mommy & me mani/pedi's (which I highly recommend if you are splurging anyway). Being able to walk over without going outside was a nice perk. Be warned - the elevators are going so high your ears pop as you go up. I guess I've never been in such a big hotel, that one surprised me. My only complaint about the rooms is the lack of a microwave. For the price, I didn't expect to feel like the room was missing anything, but it was missing a microwave. And the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars - I found the nickel and diming almost offensive. Like - the parking fee is insane, but at least its very well noted/advertised. But when we were getting our luggage in, I asked if we could grab a luggage cart to tote everything up to our room (it was quite a treck from the parking garage to the north tower), and I was told the only way we could use one was if a bellhop brought our luggage up for us - requiring us to tip them. As if I wasn't already paying enough to be allowed to use a luggage cart myself??? I would stay again - but I would love to see the place a little more focused on making their customers happy and less on wringing every dime out of them.

Beautiful Location and Great Service

Anthony F on Mar 11, 2026

I'm so glad I booked at the Hilton. It is in a perfect location with great views of both falls. It has an enclosed walkway to the casino, and you are minutes from the falls, the old hydroelectric power plant, restaurants, and other attractions. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk employees were very friendly. We had one issue that the staff resolved fantastically. We came back from the casino around 2am, and our room was 93 degrees Fahrenheit. We called down to the front desk and they immediately sent up a technician. He tried his best but couldn't fix the furnace. We were moved to a room with a better view of the falls. In addition, we received a refund of $75 and our parking for free, so we essentially had a free room for the night. It was no fault of the hotel that the furnace was malfunctioning, but they took care of us to our satisfaction. I will definitely be back.

Great stay!!

Rose P (Nashville, Tennessee) on Feb 24, 2026

What an amazing stay!! When we arrived there was a long line for checkin. Found out later there is a cheerleading event going on. Hotel is gorgeous. Rooms are spacious. On the 29th floor in the north tower with a view of the falls. It was so nice at night to see the falls and skylon lit up. Also the location is perfect! We could easily walk to the falls or head in the opposite direction and take the railway. The walkway to the casino and to the Keg is so nice!! There’s chairs and fireplace pits out in the front. The view from the pool and fitness ctr are phenomenal. Our rooms were cleaned so quickly – went to breakfast and grocery store and our rooms was already clean. Comfy bed, super nice room. Only weird thing is the jacuzzi tub. Maybe that’s a canada thing? We’re from the US and much prefer a large shower. The tub was manageable with the grab bar (I’m 5ft). Showerhead is excellent and we never ran out of hot water. Other weird thing- no overhead light in bedroom, just the side lights by bed. Concierge personnel were friendly, everything looked well maintained. Most employees greeted us when we passed them. We stopped at the Starbucks several times. Tip – big difference between the towers. North has 51 floors, south has 36 and also is older

5 Stars!

Excellent hotel, very clean, great room. Very comfortable. Received an upgrade, very nice people. The gentleman at parking was great to talk to, and was very welcoming (I believe his name was Daniel.) After a 8 hour car ride, it was nice to be greeted with such a wonderful human being. Thank you sir!

Unacceptable

Brittany x (Brampton, Canada) on Feb 16, 2026

I normally wouldn't write a review but this stay warrants one. First off we waited in a 2 hour line just to get checked in, once we arrived in our room, the room was wrong, we booked a whirlpool room and our room did not have a whirlpool, we tried calling the front desk and after sitting on hold for 15 minutes I decided to go back down. Elevator wait was another 10 minutes. I went to the conceriege desk and explained what happened and was told "sorry, you will have to wait in line to change your room." The same line that was JUST as long as the 2 hour wait we just had, this was unacceptable. I went and stood toward the front of the line and waited for the rep that checked us in to be finished with guests he was dealing with to speak with him. He apologized and changed our room. When I got to this room, the room was outdated, the "whirlpool tub" was not the tub that was shown in their photos, it was actually smaller than my bathtub at home, the hotel room door would not close unless we held in the latch, there was NO hot water to even take a bath, it was luke warm, but honestly, after the adventure we had to just get the room, I just accepted that this is what it is. The only good that came of this was a 1 hour later check out. The pool also had hour time slots that you had to book, which was also extremely inconvenient and the chlorine was so strong you could barely open your eyes while being in there, so while I was disappointed to hear about the time slot, it wasn't an issue because you couldn't stay in there long anyways. This is my 3rd time at this hotel and I have NEVER experienced anything like this. Truly a terrible experience that we paid $290 for.
