Just Back from NYC,booked Holiday here with Virgin Atlantic.Great Hotel in a great location, not far from Penn Station and MSG. Basically a good point for exploring from.Quite a few good resturants, bars and Diners in the area.Check in and check out both done quickly, room was fine as were the two double beds.Lifts/Elevators all quite big and quick,Free Buffet breakfast was fine and seemed to be always kept well stocked by the Crew on duty,- well done!! all the usual fare, scrambled & boiled eggs, bacon, pork, veggie and turkey sausages, cereals.bagels, fruit - basically enough to keep you going through the day.It seemed that there were people from outside coming in for the free breakfast, suited guys/office workers, which seemed to fill the room up - card access to the breakfast room would be a good idea. one thing of note is the roof top bar which is only open from 4pm and then only if weather permiting, a downstairs bar and t.v. might be a good idea!! there was alot of construction work going on while we were there, across the road, a little bit noisy some mornings. To all U.K. visitors note at this point in time with the exchange rate being virtually £1 -$1 it seemed a little expensive to eat and drink out e.g.a large beer was $10 and a glass of wine varied from $10 -$17, food a main course in a average resturant/diner was $25 - $27. All in all a very Good week was spent in NYC, thanks Virgin Atalantic and thanks Fairfield Inn. Would I return to this Hotel ----- YES. Would i recommend this Hotel ----YES.

Great location next to Penn Station which allowed us to either walk or use the subway to get to anywhere we needed to go. Friendly and helpful staff who were always willing to give advice and point us in the right direction. Room was clean and spacious and on a higher floor per our request giving us a reasonable view and no traffic noise. Good choice at the complimentary breakfast and we appreciated the 24/7 coffee and drinks in the lobby. No issues with looking after our luggage securely on the last day when we had a late flight - thank you! Just a couple of suggestions: 1. Please can you review your policy of using disposable plates and cutlery at breakfast - an industrial dishwasher would do the job and everyone could do their own loading so it wouldn't incur extra staffing. It is so important to cut down on plastic use. 2. Have a look at the housekeeping for guests staying for more than a couple of days - ours was great until the Friday, and then seemed to go a bit wrong - we were going out early and coming back late afternoon for a rest and shower before the evening - but from Friday onwards the room wasn't ready so caused us some inconvenience. We understand the checked-out rooms need to be cleaned first, but maybe ask guests their plans and if they intend to return late afternoon for a rest, and make sure the room is cleaned by then. Despite those couple of niggles which I hope you will see as constructive comments, I am still happy to give you a five star review.

Please is right near the train station so super plus on that. The front desk was very helpful and polite. The rooms were clean as was the rest of the place. Not much of a view of anything. The free breakfast is your typical Marriott fair. The breakfast area had an outside seating section which was nice. They were packed in the AM and there did not seem to be anyone around to clean up the tables for the next people to use. I would definitely stay again. So convenient. Price is right too.

Short & easy walk (with roller bag) from Penn Station. Property is close to subway & midtown attractions (short walk to High-Line). Property was clean & comfortable. King room was small with nice walk-in shower. Gym was well equipped and fairly spacious. Complementary breakfast with inside & outside seating. Bonus: rooftop bar was fun for Happy Hour... space is tight, so arrive early, get a high top, grab a beer & enjoy the view!
