Greatest Vacation Experience!

Shelby R M on Apr 25, 2024

From arrival at the resort to the departure, our stay was an absolute enjoyable experience! Awesome staff, breathtaking views, wonderful suite layout, delicious food selections and relaxing pool. Wedding of our phenomenal friends and an last minute put together of an Gender Reveal with the help of the Guest Services Sheresa and Manager. Thank Youuu All!!

Read this before you waste your money!

B6936SSjonr (Dallas, Texas) on Apr 24, 2024

I don't know where all of these good reviews are coming from......I question if they were really there! First the good.....the facility was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The pool was awesome! and that is it for the good. The bad The food was horrible, it is the first time that I left an all-inclusive resort and was looking forward to finding a McDonalds. Yes, i know Mcdonalds sucks.....but even they are an improvement over this place. The quality of the ingredients, the freshness of the produce, the way it was cooked were all bad. They even ruined bacon! how do you do that!? Service.....was as bad as the food. absolutely nothing was done with a smile. and there was one thing that was guaranteed.....if you did get something you asked for , you probably had to ask for it at least three times and then it took forever. Run from this place there are too many other good resorts out there to waste your money on this one.

Many Concerns - Please address, Iberostar

John M on Apr 23, 2024

We visited this property recently and I suggest management addresses the following: Room: 1. The safe did not work day 1, nor did the TV. We reported this to guest services and we were advised that we had to be in the room for the safe to be fixed. After 45 minutes, nobody arrived to address the safe issue, so we left the room. Nobody showed up for TV repair. 2. Safe was eventually fixed day 2. TV issue was never resolved. We received a call to 'check' last day if the issues had been addressed. 3. Day 2, housekeeping did not show up, despite our sign on the door to service the room. The next day, our housekeeper said 'I'll clean the room early since I did not service it yesterday'. We had to find towels the day our room was not serviced, as we had an event to shower/get ready for. 4. Please train your housekeeping staff to check the clock; it may seem trivial, but something that should be rudimentary for housekeeping to do (ensure the time is correct and that there are no set alarms from the guest prior). F&B: 1. Mediocre, but the Italian restaurant was a low point. However, the most egregious was the quality of wine. Undrinkable and when we attempted to buy a better quality of wine (bottle) the bartender said he didn't know much about it, and had to wait for his manager to help. We would have been more than willing to pay extra for something drinkable. 2. We observed 3 times bartenders serving select people that had tipped prior first, vs. those in line. We would have been happy to tip but were put off after observing people being put forward before us, obviously for the prior tip. Very poor service. Literally - "come forward Mon, don't worry about those people in line...." Concierge - the 'Club' (i.e. time share pressure) You must address this. The pressure 'did you meet with you concierge' as we were on our way to an event, was not welcomed. We were pressured and this is clearly a timeshare'ish deal - attend a breakfast, etc. Now, this is not unexpected in the Islands (although we dread it ) but the pitch is borderline legally questionable. We were told 'retired' people are ineligible (so put your occupation on the invite as 'what you used to do') and that single women are not part of their target demographics for the invite to the breakfast/pitch since they are not what Iberostar are looking for (therefor their 'gifts/rebates are at a lessor amount). The 'junior' concierge could offer $X rebates during the stay vs. the 'senior' could offer more of a discount. Your research of 'who' should be targeted for the breakfast / invitation / discount was/is questionable. If this is the case, you may not want your associates sharing/exposing this, not to mention the 'single lady' in our party was upset with this and was embarrassed that her status was 'lowered' vs. the 'couples' Beach: Did not appreciate the solicitation for 'local products' from a 5 stay resort. Hope you will take the constructive criticism seriously.

worse trip of my life 1st day here i fell and broke 2 ribs,i was taken to there there nurse and charged 45 us dollars to get cleaned from the blood and told me to go to the hospital had my phone damaged i lost all contact with my family. i went to club services to try to get some help holding my ribs and a girl from the club sales approached me i told her what happened and started trying to upsale me from gold to black member(smh) I saaid are you serious i said please stop. I suffered the first 3 days in pain until the staff at area 876 tried taking care of me a shout out to Leoroy,Kacia,Anesicia,Chad,Deidrian,Leroy, and Donavin they even gave me drink and food to me while i was laying down trying to rest. Also I want to give a shout out to Tannia Moriris who helped me pack my bag and move me to another room because the one i was in had no phone service and no internet i was cut off from the outside world, great hearted person she was considerate and felt bad for everything that happened me on this trip she even had food from a restaurant brought up to me because i could sit for a long time. and Sheresa Watson she assisted me to getting a line to the U.S.A to the cell phone company so i can make sure i had a phone when i get back to the states. Now i want to tell you that this hotel is run down the public bathroom sinks dont work there are leaks in the hall ways . I had no internet in my new room that i was moved to and there IT guy was very rood i waited for 2 hours for him when i called again he said he is not coming, i told the girl i want a refund for my trip , she said i will call club management to call you, till now i haven't heard anything ! Do Not come hear!

Perfect getaway

Eastcoast2424 (Halifax, Canada) on Apr 16, 2024

We travelled in February for a couples getaway ( birthday celebration) and really enjoyed this resort. Being close to the airport was a real plus, the beach was beautiful and being able to snorkel right off the beach was an added perk. My boyfriend loved the food truck option on the beach for lunch as well as the jerk chicken bbq everyday.. and on most days he took advantage of both. lol. We loved the 24 hour coffee shop and suggest you try the pizza ! Staff were really attentive and the entertainment crew were so friendly ( even when we declined most offers as we are the lazy vacation people ?? ). Made pretty good friends with my favourite pool cat and highly suggest bringing some cats treats.. ?? Would definitely return as it exceeded our expectations … until next time
