Terrible service especially from the reception desk and security especially late night. Will absolutely never go again
Small rooms but provides everthing needed.

The rooms are small but efficient. The staff is OK and provides help. The restaurant is only fair. The workout facility is far above average. The event dinning is superior with excellent quality. Very solid location right by E train stop from JFK.
We will be back

Destination Fee -- Deceptive Extra Cost -- Felt Lied To
Barry H on Apr 16, 2024
Pre-paid for hotel stay. At check-in, I was told that I had a $30 credit per day to use at restaurants in the hotel. Yes, they removed the $30 cost after I made those purchases. But there was a $34 per day "destination fee" that I was not aware of. I felt deceived by the costs. This was pre-paid and then they forced me to pay this extra destination fee. Beware of how deceitful these people are!
Disappointed Marriott Rewards Customer

Shame on you Marriott for taking over the Sheraton and not keeping up with your image. Have you even noticed your terrible hotel the Sheraton in Times Square? I have no choice but to stay here when I am in town because I'm on business and hopefully with enough of us employees complaining how terrible this place is our company will move us to another property. Firstly, as a repeat client I have noticed an extreme change in the staff behind the desks. The clerks attire were more professional looking. Not anymore. They look like they just came in off the street. My first impression was, What happened?? Secondly this place is old and falling apart. Neglected I must say. The lobby is filled with hundreds of tourists and you cannot make it through the crowd with your bags along with the extreme noise. How's that after a long day of work. Now you go to your room to find out that your neighbors are throwing a party and doors are slamming with no respect or concern for other guests trying to get to sleep once again after a long day at work. You call downstairs. Sometimes they don't answer the phone, maybe they are busy and maybe they are not it doesn't matter because they are going to do nothing about it. They staff is not accomodating whatsoever. Lastly, Housekeeping! Oh goodness, have they no respect for guests trying to sleep or rest? They are slamming doors and yelling to each other from room to room. In conclusion. I'm sure these rooms cost a pretty penny because of location but let me tell you to go somewhere else. It's not worth it. Rooms are small and in need of repair. Sheraton. Please stop replying with your apologies to your guests. They don't want to hear it just fix the problems will you?
