Amazing experience

Andres P (Buenos Aires, Argentina) on Apr 26, 2024

Amazing! Very efficient, comfortable, personal very kind, I will come back again to this hotel and recommend it. They even found me a cab to the airport. The breakfast was simple: just pastries, fruits and coffee but it was enough. It's near to turistic points, walkable distances.

Tourist scam@

Jim M (Aberdeen, United Kingdom) on Apr 21, 2024

The accommodation is pretty basic, but clean. The reception staff are efficient, but uninterested. The biggest problem we have is the non -return of our $150.00 deposit for each room. We have contacted the hotel and have been told that their records show the repayments have "been voided" on their system, which means they to them that they have been made. The staff have refused to help any further. Seems like we have been scammed! Be careful with this hotel!

You should avoid it

Primoz82 (Ceplje, Slovenia) on Apr 15, 2024

Hotel is in a good location, but that's about it. On a Booking.com it says Breakfast included, so if you calculate spends, you probably think you save 30$ per day because of breakfast. When we came in hotel, the receptionist said that breakfast is served only from monday till friday. Really? Oh, OK. So on Monday, we went for a breakfast. There were literaly 5 apples, few oranges and a coffe (we tried few differentntimes before we asked) When we ased the staff if we could get a croissant or something, they said the delivery company didn' bring anything today, so maybee we try again tomorrow ?? The receptionist said that they will write to a Booking.com to remove "breakfast included" add. So if you look other reviews... this is quite a long story going on. The price of a hotel is not cheap, the rooms are very much outdated, small, busy elevators, so yeah, avoid it, this is really a ripoff.

Terrible. Managment takes your money and runs!

Jill G on Apr 11, 2024

I stayed at Hotel 57 Feb 15 to 19, 2024. I was over charged for a night's stay and despite an acknowledgement of the error and promise of reimbursement within 7 days from manager Gabe Kolendrekaj, I have still not received my money back. The front desk tries to help but both the managers can not be reached by phone, their voice mail is always full and they do not reply or call back. They blame it all on a change over to their computer system but it seems like they are running a scam - I am not the only person this has happened to. I've tried contacting Wyndham and they just direct me back to the hotel. Stay here at your own risk! One of the tiny elevators wasn't working when I was there and it took over 20 minutes to get from the 14th floor to the lobby on check - out day. The bed was broken and uncomfortable and I was stuck in a room behind the service elevator and could hear it running all night long. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location and given the money they've taken from me it wasn't even worth that. Endlessly frustrated. I have taken this up with my credit card company and will be searching for legal actions I can take to get my money back.
